Amazing quality! Paul Mitchell knew what they were doing with this one! Takes a little to get the hang of but nothing like these curls!

Heated up really quick, I set it to 320 which is well below what I would use for Hot Tools or Conair. I like how you can lock and unlock the temperature and barrel. I have beautiful curls!

What I liked:Extended handle on clamp for better grip and well defined curls with various heat settings.What I didn’t like: The clamp has no resistance (it opens and closes unless you apply pressure) and it takes practice to use the tool effectively. There is no protective coating at the end of the tool. While that’s obvious by looking at the photo, the lack of the protective coating at end to hold along with getting used to the resistance free clamp make this curling Iron difficult to use. It gets better with practice. This is the tool my stylist used and he made it look easy. It’s not - at least not for self use.

Just used a Marcel for the first time. It's not difficult, but it takes a little practice. My hair is to my hips and I'm 5'9. It makes the most beautiful curls! I used a lower setting until I get the hang of it so I don't burn my hair.I would recommend watching a few YouTube videos if your a first timer. The reason for me choosing the Marcel style is bc EVERY SINGLE (5) Curling irons from hot tools only last for about 8 months. This is what's used professionally and look forward to getting better at using this amazing product!!!!!! :)

Use it everyday at work as a hair stylist. Love everything about it
