Health=Wealth.How did you come up with the idea for this product?The idea came from working in an Opticians while a student of Optometry at City University, London. A coating for glasses was released for computer users, but as a non-glasses wearer I wanted a solution to protect my eyes from harmful blue light. This is where the journey to create Ocushield began. I entered a CASS Business School competition where I won £3.500 of funding which allowed me to develop and create the product with the help of the Optometry department. What has been the best part of your startup experience?Creating a product which has made people happier and energetic because of improved sleep and fresher feeling eyes. These are great achievements for myself and the team to look back on.
