The fan runs according to how much of a load you are using.I have been using a small load and have not heard the fan run. Very quiet and great product for the price!! Mike Marshall

No No It runs off of a 12-volt power supply such as the battery in your car

Q: When used on a deep cycle battery, how low can the voltage drop before it shuts down?

It says the input low voltage shutdown is 10+/- .5 volts

Q: Would this be able to power a Xbox series S?

It should as long at the the Xbox transformer does not require more that 750W which I believe it does not.
