This is a good quality dog shampoo that lathers well. The medicated formula smells of astringent botanicals - possibly tea tree and witch hazel, although there's no ingredients list to confirm. The scent does linger. My poor little pupper doesn't like it. I feel a bit sorry for her over this, as she's generally very good about being bathed and loves floral scents - she's the first dog I've known who loves to smell flowers (as it turns out, the dog I grew up with may have been attempting to mislead us all by screaming as though she were being tortured and water was fatal to mini dachshunds whenever she encountered a bath) and will happily roll in towels or bedding when these smell nice to her.My little girl picked up a couple of ticks just playing out in our garden about a month ago - a first-time occurrence. We've switched to using Stronghold anti-flea/tick serum instead of Frontline (our vets had initially recommended this, but no longer do so) and added this shampoo in as an extra preventive. So far, there have been no repeat problems.

We have a cocker who had been treated with frontline, but ended up infested with fleas bless her. I had hoovered and treated the house after finding a few on her. But these fleas must’ve been super fleas as they came back with a vengeance and nothing seemed to be killing them!! Well until we used this shampoo. I think this has got to be one of the best flea killers on a dog I’ve ever used. Whilst washing her they were dying straight away and we had a bath full of dead fleas. I also used the flea comb on her to make sure we got them all and their eggs. Rinsed her and reapplied another lot to make sure, and there was a couple of them that had escaped up to her head, but they soon died too.Our little pooch seems so much happier now that she’s flea free. Let’s hope this is the last time she’ll get them now, cause I’ve also purchased the Indorex spray to treat the house too after the great reviews it had. I will update if they come back, but for now I highly recommend this shampoo if your dog if she’s flea infested. Thanks for making a great product.

Omg I have spent a fortune this year on sprays for the house, vet tablet flea product useless,vet flea drops useless , I obviously have bionic fleas. Read reviews especially one from lady that used by mistake on her own hair Lol 😂 anyway this is the best flea killer on the market , they died in front of my eyes and boy they were huge fleas , never seen anything like it. I will be asking my vet for a refund for the £150 I have spent on flea prep and using this from now on , the best I have ever used. Well done super product 👍

UPDATE. Unfortunately despite having a great start with this shampoo and giving the dogs new flea collars, they seem to be breeding again so not sure of the overall keeping fleas off for longer than a few showersOne of my two cockerpoo dogs had her first batch of fleas at 13yrs old, been using flea liquid on the back of her neck, but for some reason it didn’t work this time. Within a week she went from nothing to loads of fleas.Completely sprayed and vacuumed the house, got her in the bath (she is a beige colour) and no joking as I washed her they were literally coming to the surface and dying.If it always works likes this, I have no negatives to offer whatsoever. It smells okay too 😀

Our dog has caught fleas for the first time and I panicked. He is treated regularly but still managed to catch them and we didn't know what to do! We have young children so we are also a bit wary about what we use. I purchased this shampoo after reading the reviews and used it for the first time today. As soon as I put the shampoo on the poor dog, I saw some dead bugs. I left the shampoo on for a few minutes then rinsed as advised and the fleas disappeared down the plug hole, along with a load of 'dirt'. I could not believe how well this stuff worked!! Well worth the money and worth using!
