This thing has a lot of variety in a small package for a great price. Covers all small/medium jobs. Wish it had a higher tooth count but that’s a nitpick. It’s small enough that it may replace my adjustable ratchet + screwdriver w/ bit set that I normally grab for little jobs around the house.

I was looking for a set of 1/4 drive sockets and Ratchet for easy transport to use on smaller jobs like changing a jeep window regulator. I needed a 10mm and I had to pull out the large toolbox to get the needed tools. I didn't want to carry the 50lbs of tools out to the Jeep. Luckly, I guessed the right size the first trip. This kit comes in a very sturdy case that holds the sockets and other items securely in place. The case is only about 12 inches wide and has a molded in handle so very easy to transport to remote Jeeps. The kit has some weight to it probably about 6lbs which to me indicates quality inside. The 3 and 6 inch extensions make it very easy to reach recessed nuts and bolts, plus very impressing if you need another 6 inches of extension the spinner handle has a 1/4 female socket in the end of the handle. You can actual reach out 15 inches with all 3 in line, more if you use the deep well socket. The included 1/4 square to 1/4 hex adapter is also a thoughtful addition, the case has some extra room where I will be placing a few PH2, Torx and Hex bits. I think these sockets will be fine on a battery powered 1/4 drive impact gun. 14mm shouldn't be so tight that you need to attach these sockets to a 600 ft lb. Impact hammer. Impact in the ad might be a bit misleading but for a 300 ft inch impact driver these will hold up. I looked at many sets of these before I choose this one and that was mainly because of the price and tools in the kit. Having a shallow and deep well socket in pretty much every useful size up to 14mm and 9/16 in both SAE and Metric is going to be very handy. This is the best value of all the kits I considered. I am glad that this kit is in my shed.

My 3/8” Tekton ratchet sets are my go to, most often used mechanic tools. I love being able to take the whole set with me to have whatever size, deep or shallow, whether I’m working in my garage, shop, or fixing something broken somewhere else. I use the 1/4” size a lot less, and for years I’ve had a mixed set in the cheap harbor freight socket organizer that the little pins break on so it’s basically a tray. I also didn’t want to spend $100 on Tekton, or even $50 for the mid grade HF set, but for about a quarter the cost this set is very usable. Ratchet is decent quality and will never see big torque being 1/4” (I’m going to add superlube grease to smooth it, likely either no lube or that weird hard amber grease in a lot of cheaper tools). Chrome is pretty reasonable, and it seems like good case. All the functionality of the Tekton, 75% cheaper.

Ratchet feels ergonnomic and seems sturdy. Sockets have decent quality. Good practical hardbox to keep the set organized. Good set for the price.

Great set and great box. Most other small sets I’ve had the boxes come open and everything falls out. This is very secure

This socket set is very nice and at a good price point. I bought it to have something I could take to the salvage yard or to just throw in my car. If it were stolen, it wasn’t going to be a big deal. With that said, I ended up returning it because if I broke something, I would like to have a warranty on it. I looked but couldn’t find a warranty on this set. I decided to go with a different brand that has a warranty. Just as a side note, I also bought the 1/4” set and kept it. It was a complete no skip set and so cheap that I couldn’t pass it up. Another note…..these Chinese ratchets are all the same. They come bone dry and need to be lubed before using. After that, they seem just fine.

This is a very good set. I would recommend it.
