Story not as good as other Lucy & Tom stories

Love the Lucy and Tom books, they are period pieces now but the essential activities of childhood are still easily identifiable to todays children. No screens though! ;-)

Huge Shirley Hughes fan and this doesn’t disappoint! lovely book !

This little book completed our collection of Lucy and Tom books , my grandchildren love them

Shirley Hughes is a real favourite author with my grandchildren.I bought 2 copies if this book to give to my two grandchildren, each starting school in September.They listened avidly to it. It helps them to know about assembly, playtime, PE at school. As a Headteacher I suppose I know what they need to know!
