I really like the way the inflator holds onto the valve stem. I’m replacing the hose locks on my inflator tube and this is exactly what I was needing. Pulling the old stem lock off was pretty easy, but getting these on took a lot of effort. I started to look for a barb tool to aid pushing the barb into the tubing when i happened to come across a video tutorial online.What made it so much easier is to install is to first place a small about of lubricant on the barb and the edge of the tube. Once I did that it was so much easier to push on the new hose ends. Wish I knew that trick so much soonerOn plastic version I have the threads stripped completely in less than 20 uses.The quality of the brass chuck hose inflator is well made and will last much longer than the plastic version.

Have a Ridgid inflator which I love. The problem was that the chuck design was difficult to use. I found these on Amazon. I cut the original one off and replaced it with one of the new ones. Works great. I used zip ties instead of the included worm drive straps for a cleaner install.

This was just what I needed to fix an old air compressor whose valve connector was busted.

Not so easy to use and kinda cheap feeling. Low price so no complaints.

easy on and easy off. never wears out or slips off like compression type

These are great - much easier to use than the quarter tabs on the conventional connector. Easier to use on difficult to access tire valves.
