Great product
This is my first time growing from seed, and I was very pleased with these bags. I was hoping to keep my seedlings in the bags until they went into the garden, but the tomato plants did grow out of the bags fairly quick. What I noticed when I cut the bags to take the plants out, was that the roots were doing incredibly great, there was no signs of root bound going on at all. Another thing I really liked was that I was able to squish plenty of plants to my watering trays, versus using 4" plastic pots or plastic cups. Next year, I will upgrade to the next size up so, hopefully, the plants can stay in the bags until they go right into the garden. Because, my seedlings were only in these bags for only 3 weeks, I can't give an honest review on how bio-degradable they are.

As expected
These bags work great to start my summer plants indoor. I have not planted thr bags in the ground, so I don’t know if they compost. Sturdy and a good size for dahlia tubers.

Really liked these bags
I decide to try these as a way to make it easier in transplanting my seedlings into the ground -and I am well pleased. I germinated 50 sunflower seeds and when they were about 6 inches high I just dug a hole in the ground and dropped them in bag and all. So easy and will be doing it this way from now on. It’s not near as messy as I was expecting either, I was so surprised. It’s not necessary but when I put the bag into the ground , I did take a razor blade and cut the bottom of the bag with one easy cut. The roots will grow through the mesh but I wanted to make sure the roots wouldn’t get bunched up before finally breaking through. It really isn't necessary to do that though.Anyway this is a lot cheaper by far than using peat pots and other little starting pots and the bags can always be cut down smaller if you wanted smaller bags. Plus the bags don’t have any soil that leaks through it. Very well made! I really ❤️ this way a lot better and save a bunch of money as well! 👍🏼Highly recommend

As advertised
I transplanted nearly 300 tomato and pepper plants. They exceeded my expectations. They were as advertised: good quality, the plants continued to grow, roots coming through the bag. I used an auger to drill holes for planting, able to drop them in, refill with dirt. The plants are growing well! Will definitely use these again. As for biodegradable, we will see at the end of the season!

These are awesome
Obviously the first thing to come to mind is can I grow difficult to transplant plants in these. I grew squash, cucumber and zucchini. The bags are really easy to fill. I put the seeds in a month before planting outside. The plants looked really healthy. When I transferred them to my raised beds the plants didn't seem to notice they had been moved. I did see a few roots poking through which reassured me they wouldn't get root bound. Some bags i ripped at the side ( easy to do) some i didn't just to see if they get root bound in the soil. The bags definitely hold for at least 6 weeks and dont fall apart. I am now having a go at the ultimate challenge for moving plants around- the melon.Update: They work great for melons too!

These are great. I love that they offer multiple sizes
I was growing some seedlings and the leaves started to yellow so I needed something larger with more airflow so the soil dried out better. I bought these because the sizes offered and the price for the quantity you receive. They are nice and compact. I would say the only slight negative is they are harder to fill than a preformed pot but these are simply awesome. I would absolutely buy again and I’m glad I gave them a shot.

Better than plastic cups!
These little bags are awesome for seedlings. They are easier to store than plastic cups, and I can pack a lot more seedlings into a tray. The only thing I don't know is if they're compostable.

Great size
This size with 2 cups dry potting soil & sides folded halfway down. After a few months of using these I noticed that the soil / Plants in these dried out much quicker than in other type pots.

Serves the purpose
Basically a temporary home for seedlings, however some vegetables could actually just remain in these fabric type pots. You have to turn the bags inside out and adjust the height to which you prefer. This will help them stand up straight with your medium inside. If you have allot to pot, or transfer, or your selling then this is the way to go as super cheap.
