I was introduced to this product at a very expensive teeny tiny 'boutique' hair salon in NYC. The price seemed outrageous -- and yet, it took almost two years to finish that jar. A little bit -- and by little I mean a pinch -- goes a long way. If you have fine hair you're always trying to find the perfect balance between cleaning and stripping your hair of all of its bounce, between moisturizing and feeling oily, between adding body and getting weighed down with product. This shampoo is clay-based with sugar and moisturizing ingredients added. It cleans without stripping your hair of its natural oils, leaves your hair shiny enough that you don't need to use conditioner, and gives your hair enough volume that depending on your hair, you might not need product. I don't.

What may seem like a pricey product it's not. You use such a small amount and get a fantastic lather. My hair definitely has move volume after using it. I have short hair and only need to use the size of a dime or less to get a big lather. Great value for the money, nice smell and clean fuller hair.

My fine hair gets volume and becomes shining with this shampoo-paste. I usually leave it on my hair for at least a couple of hours. Totally recommend it!

These shampoos give a great cleansing experience but I still prefer the blue shampoo jar. That one does lather up and smell amazing. This one doesn’t do that as well and I don’t really see a noticeable difference in volume.

I was going out on a whim.trying this after hearing a rave review on a podcast and I'm really happy to say that this product is amazing. The smell is divine - it lathers and really gets your hair clean and my hair stayed clean, soft and full for 3 entire days which is great for fine stands of thick straight shoulder length hair. It's been a long time since I've been so excited about a product.

I have thin fine hair. I tried another Cristophe product I received as a sample and loved it so I looked into the reviews on this scalp scrub shampoo and ended up buying it. I love this stuff. First of all, I did not think it was hard to rinse out as some reviews suggested. Unless they have super thick hair or using too much. I have long hair so I use maybe about a tablespoon as directed. It cleans my hair so nicely, rinses out fine, smells nice, and gives my hair a little more added volume unlike any volumizing shampoo I’ve tried (I also use the conditioner and volumizing spray). This will definitely be a staple in my shower from now on.
