Beautiful razor
This is a fabulous razor. I purchased a small handle because I read that small is better for someone new to the safety razor, however, I feel a larger handle will give me a better grip. The smaller handle feels too dainty, like I have to shave with my finger tips instead of my whole hand. I will buy another style with a larger handle. But until I do, this one is still so nice and very high quality. fyi, for perspective, I am 5'7".

Good all around razor for getting started with wet shaving
Good razor, mild to moderate aggression for me. Like the weight as well. This one has the rose gold handle so its by far the best looking razor I have. I find with this one the angle is a bit different than my other razors

Switched from Disposable Razors
I decided to start using a safety razor when I realized how terrible disposable razors are for the environment. Also they're extremely expensive! I was skeptical because I always thought of safety razors as a man's thing, so as a woman I was a bit nervous to try. This razor does take a bit of getting used to, as its larger and heavier than most disposables. That being said, its very luxurious and once you get the hang of it, it'll leave you with a phenomenally close shave. Its very easy to take apart and replace the blade. Its such a relief knowing how much money I'm saving on razors while reducing plastic waste!

Parker 63c open comb is a great choice.
I bought this razor after having experience other brands. All of my razors are close comb. This is my first open comb razor. This Parker 63c gives a really close smooth shave. My Mühle R106 and this Parker 63c are on the same level for as smoothness and close shave. My lineup of razors are Merkur 34c,Parker 71R, Bevel Safety razor,Mühle R106. Parker 63c is my top razor. I judge it by shaving experience and regrowth. The hair grows straight out instead of an angle. The angle when using a close comb razor, not every shave. It makes the hair prickly, which causes ingrown hairs. Parker has design a really good open comb razor that’s not extremely aggressive. I’ll be buying an extra one soon for backup.

My wife is happy with her new razor
I bought this for my wife because she was tired of paying too much for disposable razors. I've been using a safety razor for several years now and I have been trying to talk her into using one to. She finally agreed to try it, so I bought her this shaver. She was hesitant at first, and nicked herself the first time using it, but she loves it now! She gets a close, smooth shave that she really likes. And we bought a box of 100 razors for only 10 dollars. We'll never go back to those gimmicky multi blade overpriced disposable razors again.

ok...... for a year
This razor worked pretty well for a year and then the screw snapped off inside the razor head. I expected this to last much longer. very disappointed

Beat shave ever
I've always used plastic and diapostaboe razors since starting to shave in middle school. I was a little skeptical at first on how these traditional blade razors work, but now I love it! Glad to save on the plastic and the razor blades are recylable and easy to change out. This razor works so smooth I noticed I no longer get razor bumps under my armpitsvor bikini line. The blades last for at least a month or so before needing to swap out. Definitely recommend!!

Not a very close shave!
I've had this razor over about 2 months and cannot get a close shave on my legs and armpits unless I press very firmly and go over the areas several times with regular soap or shaving cream. BTW I'm a blond with light hair on my legs that I only have to shave a few times a week.I'm really bummed I purchased this razor as the optimist in me thinks there HAS to be a better safety razor for women out there! I'm not sure if it's the blades or the engineering of the razor because the razor itself seems solidly built and it's easy to replace the blades (hence the two starts). I might try the Merkur or Viking blades in it. I will update if that changes my opinion.

Provides an OK shave
Many Parker razors have to be evaluated based on their ratio between build quality and price, which is usually good, and that also is the case for the 63C. However this good ratio of build quality and price all too often does not translate into a good performance, and that is unfortunately also the case for the 63C. YMMV, but for me the couple of shaves I had with this razor (using name brand blades) only provided an OK shave at best. I have cheaper razors which still perform better, but definitely some Canadian and German DE safety razors easily outperform the 63C at a similar price or for just a few dollars more.

Great design and very user friendly!
Ladies...you know those hairs on the back of your upper leg you can never seem to get with a normal razor, no matter which direction you shave in, or which pretzel shape you twist yourself into?? This is the answer. For the first time I easily have hair-free hammies! Have used this a few times now, and as my first safety razor I'm very happy! It is easy to find the right angle, the weight of the razor makes it glide seamlessly, and it looks great. The only downside is that I'm finding I wish the handle was just a little bit longer for easier grip.It is super easy to clean and use, and I'm so happy I made the environmentally-friendly change!

Woman here!
The razor was a little intimidating. It was a really thin sharp razor blade and I got worried, as it was my first time safety razor user, that I was gonna slide and cut myself and bleed to death. It got little scratchs on my knees but that was it! The razor was really easy to use and steardy, and you get the hang of it really easily. Nice little first safety razor, would definetly recommend! I had one that kept unscrewing from the bottom, and that one screws from the top and it never unscrewed!

No cuts yet
Got this razor a few weeks ago and am quite happy with the results. It's my first safety razor and not at all as hard to use as you'd think. Haven't cut myself at all yet. The only down fall is that it takes twice as long to shave. But I suppose it's a small price to pay towards being more eco friendly. The razor was shipped to me very quickly so 5 stars for service.
