Challenging to drill Stainless Steel with this
Not effective for drilling through 1mm of SS304 though HSS Step-drill bit is supposed to cut thru Stainless Steel. I was finally able to use this drill bit aling with lubricating oil, after making a center hole using another TCT drill bit. I was then able to drill upto 22mm wide hole. Beyond that width seemed difficult with this drill bit with 1mm SS304.

Great Tool for DIY Aquarium Acrylic Work
I bought this step drill bit for my DIY aquarium acrylic cover, mainly to make holes in the acrylic sheet. It worked extremely well - smooth drilling with full control, and not a single crack or chip appeared. The cuts were clean and precise, which is very important when working with acrylic. Very satisfied with the performance and definitely recommend it for aquarium and acrylic DIY projects.
