Easy to install and configure
I found this easy enough to install on a mixed 2.4G and 5Ghz wifi. They are named accordingly so I made sure I connected to the 2.4Ghz network.Setting the timers was a doddle. I asked on this forum before buying whether a different on/off time could be added per day. Got different answers but the correct answer is YES you can. Each timer is either an ON or and OFF and you can set it for once only, or once on 1 - 7 days. If you want the timer to come on at 830 on mon/tue/wed and go off at 1130 mon/tue and off at 2pm wed you set up three timers as follows:a) Timer one comes on at 830 and repeats every mon/tue/wedb) Timer 2 goes OFF at 1130 and repeats every mon/tuec) Timer 3 goes off at 2pm every wed.You can edit the timers (quick screen tap) or delete them (long screen tap).I didn't find out how many timers (they call them schedules) you can have. You can do a lot with 3 or 4 timers. It is very versatile.

NOT a 3540W rating as advertised.
Despite what the listing advertises, these plugs DO NOT have a 3.5kw max load rating. See the photos I have taken of the item box, it clearly shows a MUCH LOWER max load rating. Also shows as being 13/16 amp NOT 16 amp.Mis-selling, maybe. Misleading, definitely. So if you definitely require a higher rating for safety, look elsewhere. That said, as I already had/have the Tuya app & smart app on my phone & in use, these were a breeze to add, as I had done it before, it literally took seconds to add each 1 then Alexa recognised them immediately & added them automatically for voice control through Alexa.Haven't even looked at the energy watch, I didn't buy them for that but for the 16amp rating.Would I recommend them? Yes, BUT they are NOT as advertised & even with a deal price of £30 for 4, I could have got similar spec13v ones at a better price. So just be aware.

fiddly to connect
as other people have said once set up very easy to use but initial set up can be difficult.I had to separate my wifi to 2.4 and 5.0 so they would work but once up and running work seamlessly .

A bit fiddly to install but great when working
Delivered well within deadline via the click and collect lockbox (a really convenient way to get deliveries). As with all smartlife plugs this is a bit fiddly to install as you have to connect via a 2.4hx network.Once installed it’s a breeze to use via the smart life app and automatically links itself to Alexa.Would recommend.

Excellent smart plugs
I use these with my Smart Life app and also with Google assistant. Very easy to install and I specifically wanted these to power a heater. Very stable and connection is good once set up. Very pleased with the purchase.

Great little smart plug.... but...
I bought this thinking it would be perfect for what I needed it for. It is... but.... I thought it would be straight forward to install and use. Straight forward to use, but getting it installed was very problematic. Nearly 100% of all smart plugs only work on the 2.4ghz signal on most people's WiFi signal. I've learnt a fair bit about the 2 combined signals that you're wifi broadcasts, but to install it you need to split the 2 frequencies. Generally not difficult but can be problematic. You'll need to log into your router and untick a "combine signal" box and also rename at least 1 of the frequencies so you know which one's which. I eventually managed it but with split frequencies you may then need to relink all your wireless devices as a lot will use 5ghz while some will use 2.4ghz. I wasn't prepared to relink my many devices so uninstalled the plug and will have another think about going through the same process again. For the record, while I had it working it was brilliant. I could switch on and off the device using my mobile virtually instantly. Annoyed though that I couldn't easily continue to use it. Haven't given up yet though !!

Energy monitoring but only in thier app.
A bit of a pain to setup at times as need a 'old' 2.4ghz WiFi connection to setup. My Pixel 6 and Goog WiFi won't let me choose this so your system may work just fine. I used an old tablet that could not talk 5ghz.Only major gripe is that you only get acces to the energy data in SmartLife/Tuya app. Not available in Google home or as far as I can tell to be downloaded. So you need an account and some data about your home. I didn't allow auto geolocation. You get instant reading and daily/monthly total. Also the more normal on/off and linked Amazon/Google account for assistant features.Ok for the money and basic 'identify which plug chews the juice and how many kWh' functions.

Not accurate power readings
For those reviewers who struggled to get these plugs to connect, here's how. Make sure Bluetooth and GPS are turned on, and you're connected to the same WiFi network as you want them to connect to. Every time you hold the button on the side for 6 seconds, the plugs alternate from flashing fast to flashing slow (read the instructions, yeah!). Then in the Smart Life app, Add Device -> Lighting -> Plug (BLE+WI-FI) and try flashing slow or flashing fast, one of them will work. Now for the negatives, the readings don't make sense! Just do the maths on any of the screengrab that anyone has uploaded.(150mA/1000) * 243.2V = 36.48W but the device says 3.6W.(60mA/1000) * 243V = 14.58W but the device says 7.4W. Less mA but the device reports more power??(826mA/1000 * 242.7V = 200.47W but the device says 135.7W.Now, I've gathered a huge amount of measurements using the 4 plugs that I have and below 1A (250W) it looks like the plugs have one method of measuring power that hasn't been calibrated properly. The slope of the graph is way off. And some data like I mentioned above makes no sense at all. However, from 5A (1250W) and up, the calibration looks good.It also won't report any numbers below 31mA (3W). So a neat trick is to plug in a 4 port extension lead and plug in something that draws say 5W. Then add your device that's <3W and look for the difference/step up.Lastly, don't expect 2 of these plugs to sit side by side on a 4 way extension lead. They're slightly too wide for that.
