Superb solution for a smart living room without a hub or neutral wire
This switch is exactly what I needed as functions just as intended. I’ve recently installed six LED 6w dimmable downlighter spotlights, which I wanted to control either by a wall switch or via Alexa, without the need for a neutral wire (as most wall switches only have a live, switched live and an earth). And this switch does just that. I’ve already had couple of smart wall plugs that used the Smart Life app, so syncing this switch to it was near automatic. The dimming range is superb, so will go literally from barely visible (if you say “Alexa, dimmer switch 1%) all the way to 100% without a flicker (By the way the downlighters are Luceco from Screwfix and are superb). They switch is a soft start so there is about half a second delay from pressing the button to lights coming on. And you can for example ask Alexa to turn them on, and you can then manually turn them off via the wall. Also works vice versa, or by only using a the wall switch or Alexa. Honestly, this switch is great. By the way it’s the Wifi version I bought, as I believe they also sell a zigibe version but you need a bridge or a hub for that one. Neither one was required for this install.

This works really well. Price is not unbearable
This switch is a fabulous drop In replacement for a conventional LED dimmer. In the pictures you will see my 3 gang dimmer. One is the above Smart switch and the others are still conventional (for now). I will be replacing the rest as I’ve been running this dimmer now for two months and I’m super happy.Easy to configure. Using Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT with Sonoff Zigbee stick. Wired in the switch, reset it following the instructions, set to pair and it was up and running. You can set a minimum dim level to avoid flickering. All configuration and reset is done from the switch button. No need to open up again. One point. I have 3 of these and each one of driving about 6 LED Gu10s and I have no issue with flickering (once set up for minimum value). I imagine on a small number of LEDs you may have more trouble.I will be ordering more!

It does work with Zigbee2MQTT (2023 Jan)
Straightforward to install, to pair, works perfectly with Zigbee2MQTT and gets sent to Domoticz without any hiccups. Unfortunately my 9.5W LED bulb was flickering with it, but that was expected. I also expected that my "dimmable" LED will be way too bright at it's lowest, which it was. I installed a 100W halogen bulb with the dimmer and it's perfectly happy with proper low light levels.

NOT compatible with Zigbee2MQTT (V1.28.4-1 as of 06Dec22) - Otherwise Good
As of 6 Dec 2022, Zigbee2MQTT V1.28.4-1 can 'see' it (0x086bd7fffe5ce0ac / 0x95AA), but reports it as "Unsupported", so it cannot be controlled via Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant. That is a real pity, because the dimmer as such works fine with the two 112Watt halogen lights I connected:+ no flicker (although I have not tried LEDs)+ no humming or other noise+ dimms from full off to full on- minor quirk:about a second delay between pressing the button and the lights switching on/off, which may irritate some. (This is probably due to the soft on/off and the fact that the button is also used for factory reset & zigbee pairing, which is very easy.)

Can be made to work with Openhab
Unfortunately it does not appear to auto configure correctly in Openhab as a Homeassistant device, but it doesn't claim to be Homeassistant compatiable. Fortunately it was easy pair with SONOF Zigbee Hub using MQTT and then control with Openhab by configuring it as a generic MQTT device. The one thing I personally don't like is that when you send the switch a "brightness" it automatically switches it on if it was off. I understand why it does this and don't consider it a fault as such, it's just that for the scenario I am using it for I would like to be able to set the "brightness" ready for next time it was switched on.

Check size of the backbox you want to install into
Clear instructions meant this was easy to wire up in place of an existing analogue dimmer switch, but a little bit off fettling was needed on my existing (metal) backbox as this is larger than the original dimmer and there were a couple of lugs on the backbox that prevented it sitting properly in the box. Once they had been bent out of the way it was fine. Works very well with the 60W (8.7W) dimmable LED bulbs I picked up from a local DIY merchant.

It is a little expensive, but does the job great and connects via the tuya smart life app and alexa
See the title. That's it

Worth the little extra. Simple, fits, works!
Easy to swap out old and this fits perfectly in place of the old dimmer switch, installed and working in 5 mins.
