summary:- good looking case with decent protection, but not the best storage, and some other questionable design features.positives:- the fabric covering looks nice- the flip up stand works- I have a protective shell on my steam deck and it still fits in the case (its a little tight).- the rubberized handle is comfortable- the case is stiff but flexible and offers good protection against drops- the zipper is smooth and closes with a clean protected seamnegatives:- could have done without the branding on the case- the storage is sufficient for the basic accessories, but is not as generous as some other cases. While it will hold an AC adapter, wireless ear buds, and maybe a small battery pack or wireless mouse, it wont hold my folding wireless keyboard, although if they were to eliminate the extra flap that is used for the flip up stand it might have fit.- I dont like the way the handle is stitched to the case. It just doesnt seem that sturdy.- while the flip up stand works, I have a protective case on my deck that has a built in stand that is preferable.

I do like this carrying case. Better than the one that came with the Deck itself. If you're in the market for a new carrying case or just want a better one than the one that came with it, I would recommend this one. It holds my deck without issues and I can put SD cards in along with my charger and have no issues. Only downside is that it seems to use cheapish Velcro to hold down the pouch for the SD cards. Would've like to have that be something different or at least a stronger Velcro.

Fits well, I only wish they had put some cushion/foam material between the outer case and the inner form. Although as it is, there is an air gap between the outside and the inside form, so it still offers drop protection, but could be a little bit better.The dark gray color is nice, although the branding stands out - I wish it was not written in white, and instead a darker color. (So you can still read the branding, but it doesn't stand out so much.)

The Steam Deck fit perfectly and securely, then my son decided to try his Switch. It fit best with the Joy-Cons removed and set in the side compartments. There’s plenty of room for his accessories and the mesh pouch that holds the games is a plus. The zipper works very smoothly and creates a good seal to keep everything dry, in case he has to dash through a rainstorm. The little holes between the zipper tabs where you can put a lock made me chuckle. If someone wants to steal the game console, they’ll just grab the whole case and make a run for it. But if you want to keep nosy guests out of your stuff it would be a deterrent. The outside of the case is sturdy and should help prevent damage if it’s knocked off a desk or table, but neither of us are brave enough to try dropping it from a 2nd story window. The handle is sewn on in an odd way but seems secure enough.This case is going to make travel so much easier, and for $13.00 it’s a great price!

If you're looking at this, you probably already know that the quality of the case that the steam deck comes with is excellent. However, like me, you're also probably here because it doesn't hold anything else but the steam deck, lol. This case is a great quality and holds everything that I need perfectly. It's the kind of design the original case should have had but unfortunately did not. And at under $10 the value of this is absolutely mind-boggling.

This case is on the lower end of the cases I've tried out, but it's priced accordingly and will still provide good protection for your Steam Deck, it just might not be as durable as some others over the long term.

Great case for the steam deck, for the money you pay you should have it protected. Really recommend doesn’t add too much bulk to the unit. Easy to bring with and keep protected even when in not in use. For the price and all that this is great. If you like charms and stuff added to things still have room for that as i like to personalize them a bit like the olden days of customizing things.
