Art Vinyl Play & Display Record Frame (Black)

This is a plastic frame, cheap plastic too. Which for the price you pay is very disappointing. The "mechanism" for opening/locking the frame is somewhat baffling. I presume that once the frame is hanging on a wall that gravity keeps it closed. All I know is when trying to put a vinyl in, the frame just keeps opening and it's very fiddly to get it to close. However, all this aside for, having your favourite vinyls on display it does the job.

Recently bought a second one of these - one at home, one at work. It is easy to swap record sleeves, and the mount covers only a tiny amount of outer edge. So nearly the whole sleeve is visible, protected by a transparent and hardly reflective surface; and offset by the black 2.5 cm/1 inch black border. The border works, it's non-intrusive and frames in a rather stylish way. Yes, the mount is plastic, but it is dull matt and looks fine, even classy. The whole mount is about a centimetre (5/12 of an inch, for the metrically challenged) thick, so looks like a cool painting frame - records get the art treatment they deserve!I've digitized my whole record collection, but I wouldn't want to miss my beloved LP covers - and this is the best way to put them up on the wall. It's not cheap, but it looks great. Recommended.

I already owned one of these frames, which I've had for about 5 years or so. Now I have two, the new one having arrived this morning, less than 48 hours after ordering. These frames look great on the wall. I currently have Johnny Cash in one and Bob Dylan in the other. These frames are a masterpiece of design and it takes only a few moments to swap LP covers (complete with the albums) when you fancy a change. I went for the black frames, but the white ones look very nice too. The frames are very well made and come with fixing screw, washer and wall plug. In no time at all, they're on your wall and looking fantastic. Very highly recommended.

Looks great on the wall but it's not worth £39. The plastic is flimsy and it does not sit square on the wall because it warps when the fixing screw is tightened. Also, the 4 rubber feet had come off and were loose in the box. A good idea but could do better ...

Only took off a star because I had to replace the acrylic as it had fallen out (I bought two and this happened on both). However, once on the wall with the vinyls in, they look fantastic. I plan to buy another for a new limited edition vinyl arriving in a few weeks.

Great little gift for a music enthusiast if the collect vinyl

Product obviously handled roughly during production as matt frame coating covered in scratches before even coming out of the box. Spray also unevenly applied. Not acceptable for a price like this.

At first I wondered how the mechanism worked before I attached it to the wall and it looked like it fell apart every time. These worries were gone when this beautiful frame was put on the wall. I use the frame to put my currently played Vinyl in to display it and it looks perfect when next to the player. Great product and will recommend this to my friends.
