A very nice iPhone case, but ....
So, here's the thing ... this iPhone 14 case is really quite nice and worth a five-star review. Both the materials used, and the workmanship seem very good. Can't say anything about durability since I'm not using the whole case. That's because in its maxed-out form, it's just plainly too large for me. When loaded with the maximum number of credit cards, etc., plus the phone, it measures a whopping one and a half inches wide on the open side making it more the size of a small purse. That would be ok if I typically carried a small backpack or such, but I don't. If it doesn't fit in my pants pocket, then it's not going to accompany me. I've used a folio-style case for many years and have always been able to drop it in my pocket even with a whole bunch of credit cards, insurance cards, license, cash, etc. jammed into them. That just doesn't work with this particular case. That said, however, I like the detachable phone case enough that I'm using it without its extra big wallet part. Instead, I wound up spending a stupid amount of money on a really big company's (starts with an "A") MagSafe "wallet" which, sadly, only holds a couple credit cards and my driver license. At least the wallet's leather is almost the same color as the phone case, and since the case is MagSafe compatible, the small but (barely) adequate wallet snaps to the back and does pretty much exactly what I need. I have both adequate phone protection and utility between the two, and I can also wirelessly charge my phone by removing the wallet. I should mention, too, that the wallet has a tracking device (by the same really big company) built in which means if I remove it from the case and leave it somewhere, my phone or iPad can tell me where, which I find to be a nice little perk. Unfortunately, it did come at a pretty hefty price between the case and wallet - a little north of a hundred bucks (ouch!). Yes, I'm aware I could have bought any other much cheaper MagSafe case and used the same wallet with that. But that's my mistake and not to the detriment of the CASEOWL case. So, here's my suggestion to the CASEOWL folks: design and produce a similar, but superior, thin-as-possible combo at a much more competitive price. In my opinion it would be a very attractive product in the space. Kudos in any case for making a very nice product despite its overly-hefty (for me) size. The only fault I could mention would be for not including all of the dimensions in the Amazon product description.

Creates glitches - not mag safe?
I used this to take downtown for NYE so I didn’t have to carry a whole purse and I kept having to remove my phone from the wallet to be able to properly use it. My guess is that the magnets in the wallet that keep the phone in place were making my phone glitch. I had my phone in the case that came with it, but the case was fine. It was the wallet throwing everything off. Definitely a huge issue and I hope it doesn’t mess up my brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Simple. Stylish. Versatile.
I love the options. I am not a purse person so this little case has all I need. I like the snap at the card compartment but a magnet for complete closure. Phone case pulls off easy but holds firmly in place when attached to the wallet.
