Wera 05005655001 247 Single-pole phase tester, 0.5 x 3 x 70 mm

Typical WERA quality, but only for a couple of pounds more than the ubiquitous red-topped mains tester screwdriver, that has a poor quality tip, where the chrome chips and the metal poorly finished. But THIS Wera is an altogether different beast. Very beautifully engineered and cut tip. Not chrome coated, but rust proof and really well made.One commenter complained about the spring clip, which I agree sticks out, but not uncomfortably so, IMO. The hand somehow fits quite smoothly over it, which is surprising, as it does look as if it'd intrude into the palm rather. I didn't find this at all; and the extra diameter of the handle compared to the bulk standard one eases the pressure the user needs to exert in order to loosen or tighten screws. It certainly doesn't slip and rotate in the annoying, distracting fashion that the standard, cheaper screwdriver version does.The light is a tad dim, but not markedly less so than the usual standard screwdriver offers. There are only seemingly 2 alternatives tot he cheaper offering, this Wera and the Wiha, but the Wiha is way, way more. Not worth the price premium in my book, unless you really don't like the wider bodied style of this screwdriver - in which case the Wiha may be for you. But for not much over £4.00 I say this Wera is a relative bargain.

An excellent screwdriver, except for the fact that the plastic clip on the sign can be uncomfortable. If you’re using it for long period of time in common with other screwdrivers, I bought these ones by WERA as I was disappointed with cheaper screwdrivers where the blades would bend or twist and really if you want to use it all like this, you need it to be effective. Not as good as the little volt sticks, but useful for small electrical jobs.

I like the clip cuz it's not like a pen clip, like on most of the others. It'll do for what I need it for, and it won't be used too often.

Wera are my favourite tools on the market great quality and innervation. I bought this as a work colleague miss used it and snapped the tip.

Lovely screwdriver to use, I removed the metal pocket clip straight away as I don't need it, but it's comfortable in the hand with or without it. Voltage indicator works well, a well made screwdriver just like all the other Wera drivers. Quality item suitable for carrying in your pocket if needed.

⚡️Immer dran denken Strom ist lautlos, unsichtbar und definitiv lebensgefährlich⚡️Oft liegt er bei diversen Werkzeugsets bei und lässt dann gern zu wünschen übrig, ob nun die Klinge zu schnell abbricht, der Clip sich verbiegt oder den Endkappe aufliegt. Ich mag diese billigen Phasenprüfer nicht, ich sehe die als gefährlich an und ja der Elektriker schimpft auch auf den wertigen Phasenprüfer gerne mal, aber um mich selbst zumindest etwas zu schützen kauf ich lieber was vom Hersteller meines Vertrauens und da hat mit der Wera-Phasenprüfer überzeugt, fast aus einem Guss und nur der Clip ist ein Anbauteil.Die paar Euro sollte die persönliche Sicherheit/Gesundheit wert sein. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung...👍

Ne ho provati diversi modelli, dai più economici ai meno economici , come l'oggetto in questione , ma in questo caso si può affermare che il detto " chi meno spende più spende " sia vero. Sicuramente molto più costoso dei concorrenti , ma di gran lunga più robusto e resistente, perché come tutti sanno , pur essendo un cerca fase, viene abitualmente adoperato come giravate e questo prodotto è molto più resistente degli altri modelli provati.
