PackTowl Luxe Quick Dry Microfiber Towel for Beach and Travel

We bought a set of these when we went rafting through the Grand Canyon...great choice. They pack beautifully - small enough to take up little room and big enough to actually dry a body.Just bought a few more to use on our boat. They hang onto a suction hook attached to the bulkhead (not too heavy) - they absorb well and dry quickly. They are pleasant on the skin - that's important too.We live in the tropics - so these are just right. The quick dry means they don't get the chance to mildew or get smelly /icky. They are a dream to wash - I can even hand wash them and hang on deck to dry.BTW - the color is prettier than it looks in the pic.

What a great towel! We usually bike to the pool, so we needed a super-small towel to fit in the bag. This was absolutely perfect—it’s really absorbent, the texture is good and not so different from a regular towel, the size is great (we were using a bath towel before, and the Body size is actually a bit bigger (and much lighter!) than a standard bath towel), and i cannot believe how small it folds up. Never have any issues fitting it into the bag. I don’t think it’s really that quick drying, but it doesn’t get much of a chance to dry when we use it; we just pop it back into the attached bag when we’re done and it holds the wetness in just fine. I can see how the snaps on that loop might be a little feeble but we have not yet had an issue with it. Probably going to buy another smaller one to have on the go for when I go hiking! Can’t recommend enough—if you are looking for a packable towel this will solve your problem.

I purchased this towel in the bath size 24" x 54" to replace another synthetic travel towel (Innate towel) that was damaged beyond repair. I primarily use these synthetic towels for use after surfing as well as travelling. The main benefit of using synthetic towels is its ability to dry quickly after use and packability compared to cotton towels we all know and love.I have been using this towel for a month now and can attest to its ability to soak up water from your body like a cotton towel and not like a chamois like other synthetic towels. It feels great on your skin, is soft, absorbent and will dry quickly in the sun or if left hanging in a room. For instance if you take a shower at night before bed the towel will be usable in the morning and will not feel damp or pick up odors from multiple uses. This is critical for me because when I go in trips I can just take this one towel and I know I can use it for days without it getting funky. I'm actually considering buying a few more and completely getting rid of cotton towels that are more bulky and need more energy to wash and dry more frequently. All in all if you like the feel of regular towels but need the quick drying, compactness, and odor resistant properties of a synthetic, you will be satisfied with this towel.As an aside I also own the Packtowl personal towel that has been rated and reviewed a million times over. I also use that towel and it works very well and I leave that one in my truck or use it hiking. In comparison to the luxe, it is even more compact and packable and light but while it does dry your skin and hair well there's just no comparison to the way we've been programed in life to enjoy cotton towels. This to me is the goldilocks of towels; feels like a towel, packs smaller, and dries quicker than a cotton towel. Both are great products so just choose the one you feel has better qualities you're looking for.Since I think this is the first review of this product I want to also say I purchased this item on my own (on sale) and was not given to me by the manufacturer or Amazon.

I love this towel. Exactly what I was looking for. I like their original version - nice and thick, "real" fabric - but it was a little prone to tearing, and would sometimes take too long to dry. I had tried some other microfiber towels as a replacement, but hated the fake feeling of the fabric. This towel still has that feeling of real fabric, but dries super quick and takes up much less space than a normal towel. Perfect for camping, or using to shower at the gym/work/pool. My only complaint is I wish the towel was a little wider. It would be just fine for a male, but as a female, a little more width would be nice for covering top and bottom when walking around the locker room.

Much 'cushier' than the regular/original. Bought one of the luxe and 2 of the original in the biggest size available. They cover perfectly and may have converted me from regular cotton towels. I bought these for our trip to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally because we had limited packing space and I was worried about our towels getting musty after 2 weeks of rally life (no laundry access). These were a god send. Dried quickly, never smelled of mildew, gentle on skin, small to pack.
