This thing is a life saver! It cleans easily, works well mixing, and appears to be very durable. Stick in your drill and mix away. It helped me mix a thick 5 gallon of DryLok. It mixed very well and with ease. The construction seems to be strong and cleaned very easily with latex paint. Highly recommend as this makes the chore of mixing nearly effortless.

Great for paint or mixing your herbicides in a tow-behind lawn sprayer. Just put it on a cordless drill and it flat turns up the water quicker than you would imagine. Very happy with it and it shipped next day I believe.

Works exactly as described, forward and reverse both work in creating a well mixed product. It's as durable as any hardened plastic tool could be. I dont think it would make for a great cement mixer although it would probably work in a pinch. I was using it to make 5gallon buckets of paint and it did a perfect job with my drill.

The paddle was used to mix an asphalt driveway sealer which was very thick. Attached to a cordless drill the paddle worked better than expected. No problem mixing and the paddle worked good at high speed.

I have some old 5 gal buckets of paint that i wanted to whip up so see if they were still useable. I needed a sturdy tool, which this is plenty heavy duty for the job. That being said it was not exactly what i was looking for. I spent alot of time reading reviews and product descriptions as there are SO many choices when it comes to a mixing tool for a 5 gallon bucket. This one was just a bit longer than most which i felt was important. It did fall just a bit short on the job of actually mixing the paint. I wanted a tool that would create a vortex and pull the paint from the bottom and bring it to the top hence the paint on top would be pulled to the bottom. The seller did tell me that this does indeed just that. This was not that tool. It worked but i would try something else next time. I feel i would need to go with something larger. This is only about 2.5 inches diameter and pretty much just stirred the paint in the general area so you need to move it up and down and side to side. With that it did a great job. I strongly suggest that you start at the TOP of the bucket and slowly work your way to the bottom, otherwise starting at the bottom you will get paint on the shaft and it will fly around everywhere as you pull the tool up. Easily cleans up if you rinse it off directly when you are done. Yes I do recommend this tool but i am hoping to find exactly what I have imagined.

First things first. I purchased the 1 gallon mixer previously. I was absolutely thrilled with it--mixed the paint perfectly and cleanup was a breeze. I bought this one. Perfect mixing on both 2-gallon and 5-gallon buckets of paint. Again, very easy clean up as well (see picture below for post clean-up). No mess in mixing (just don't run it on a really high speed). This beats the *bleep* out of the mixing sticks.

This is bigger than I expect and is till fix the standard entry hole. I need is to mix thicken in epoxy. This mixes fast but need plastic larger cup mixing fair filler. It's lower profile mixer blades produce filler power blow off. So aggressive in a good way to get things done fast.
