good entry level camera
Great entry level camera, with many pro features. It takes great pictures at 2000 and 2500 ISO. The menu is intuitive, and the automatic settings work decently out of tbe box.

A hopefully sound review of an amazing camera
Amazing quality, extremely lightweight, it's the perfect size for on the go use, and overall manages to exceed any possible worries when buying a camera. If you want a good camera and don't want to spend thousands on just the body, this camera is for you. I'm a fan of film, and I'd bought a different camera only to realize that it wasn't what I needed and then sprung for this one. I now have two separate lenses that accomplish the same goal at different distances, and this camera is absolutely stellar at recording, making it not just ideal, but a necessity for anyone who wants a quality picture. If you want good lens options, go with either the, "Canon RF16mm F2.8 STM Lens" or the "Canon RF35mm F1.8". Both are extremely amazing to pair with this, just make sure to buy a second battery (Canon Battery Pack LP-E17) (Image is a little blurry due to motion, the quality is top tier, you can see every hair on a person's face during photo mode)

Beautiful camera
I’m a pro photographer and I just added this camera to my kit bc it really is so simple to use and checks all the boxes for my non work stuff. I feel like I can easily get a beautiful image out of this and the simplicity keeps my focused on composing the shot. The video stuff is nice too, although I’m not a huge fan of HDR PQ and all the hoops you have to jump in order to edit the image. I end up just shooting in neutral and color grading accordingly anyways. For basic stuff the image holds up, then again I don’t really push it beyond basic correction and simple color work…seems to take my LUTs well, which is surprising.

Fantastic camera!
I really like how this camera operates, it's fast and easy and takes terrific video and photos. A nice upgrade from a prior cannon rebel DSLR. Minor complaints: You have to remove camera from tripod in order to access the battery or memory card door located at the bottom of the camera. The overall size of the camera is quite small, this is no issue for casual use, but if you're a "pro" holding a camera for long periods you'll probably want a larger grip body and more external button controls. This camera is a great performer, and offers a lot of value at this price point.

Overheating sucks, but overall a pretty good pick
It's really only good for 40m 4k30 recording before it gives up and takes an angry nap for a few minutes. I use it as a C cam, so this ain't ideal, but it's acceptable enough for the price If recording long sessions ain't a concern for you, yea I'd reccomend this one as a solid entry pick
