Flavour
I used this for the first time today in my new smoker, I cooked brisket. The smell and taste were amazing. So glad I bought 2 bags, but I’ll be back for more when I’ve used them up🙂

BBQ game changer!
We have a small BBQ that is enclosed with a lid and after doing some research, realised that it could be used to smoke meat. After shopping around we decided to try these oak chips. Without sounding dramatic, this was the epiphany moment of BBQ/camping cooking! Set up the BBQ as normal and just before you put the food on, throw a small handful of these oak chips onto the coals and then just cook as normal. The taste of your food, just from adding these chips, will be enhanced 10 fold! Everything from smoked halloumi to real smoked burgers will ensure you become the BBQ king!

Flavour and Smoke does work.
I have tried these with a beef brisket last weekend, after super fast delivery from the supplier. I agree that these chips did make a difference, they changed the flavour of the beef compared to last time we had this where it was just plain smoked. Would I say it was scented for me to smell whilst it was smoking, not really, smoky and that's about it, but then that means it is doing the job. Value for money, they are charging a fair bit for some wood chips, but they are marketing it with some nice fancy packaging. Ease of use, very easy, I soaked them for 30 minutes in some water, before throwing them over the hot coals. Lots of instant smoke, so get the lid back down quick to get maximum benefit. I threw on a handful every 90 minutes (cooked the meat for 11 hours in total). You could put on more but that I found was enough. Also means I have enough for another day. Would I recommend, yes, go for it.

Strong flavour but quite expensive.
A nice smoking chip. Maybe a little strong for chicken, but great for brisket. Quite expensive and might not appeal to the purist who doesn't like blends.

Smaller bags than we expected tbh with even more air than wood chips This will be fine for someone not wanting to use a smoker more than twice

great taste
I'm relatively new to using smoking wood chips but after reading many reviews I decided that Weber seem to be the best to go for. Not by any means cheap but that's not an issue if the quality is there, and it is. I was expecting to be smoked out but they actually don't bellow out loads of grey suffocating smoke but instead it's just a subtle gentle flow that really isn't that noticeable (at least it's not on my Weber Kettle barbecue). It does add just a subtle smokey taste and colours the sausages a beautiful golden brown. Because I barbecue regularly and these wood chips aren't cheap, I will keep them for special occasions. I use them in a stainless steel smoking box, I submerge it (half full of the wood chips) in water for some hours prior to using and then place it directly onto the hot charcoal.

J'ai essayé le bois de fumage Weber et je suis ravi du résultat ! Les arômes sont intenses et ajoutent une saveur délicieuse à mes viandes. La qualité du bois est excellente, sans éclats ni résidus. Facile à utiliser, il fonctionne parfaitement sur mon barbecue. Un must pour tous les amateurs de fumage !
