This kit comes with everything you need to get started with exploration of the microscopic world.The included slides are a great way to get started and the extra slides and slide covers allow you to make your own slides. The kit includes pipettes, sample tubes, a sample slicer, and other tools for creating your own slides.At 1000x, you can make out the macro details of individual cells but don't expect to see the inner workings of cells.Some minor complaints:- Instruction booklet is sorely lacking- The focus knobs are really, really difficult to use. While it does allow very fine tuning, they are slippery and the tension is quite high so it requires using two hands and kids won't be able to keep the microscope stable while trying to turn it. Some slightly higher priced scopes will have micro and macro focus adjustments.- Included slides have some dust contamination which detracts from the samples- The included power cord is laughably short which makes it a bit restrictive on where you can place it; another 2-3 feet of cord would have been appreciated- Some kits at just slightly higher price points come with better storage and other small features such as cell phone mounts and other bits. This kit does not include any storage for the parts aside from a small cardboard box the parts came in.- Some minor fit-and-finish shortfalls which do not detract from the functionality.At $60, a very solid intro kit; the construction of the microscope is solid and all parts feel well built. Perfectly suitable for introductory exploration as long as you understand the minor issues.

My kids can now explore the micro realms of the world. I also bought some prepared slides in a set so they don't start trying to kill bugs with their own hands. It works well and was easy to set up! The ability to connect to a phone is nice, but I'm not using that feature yet. Overall, a great image at a reasonable price.

This microscope is designed for kids, not only the functions but the size. It comes with some accessories for sample observation, and it also comes with few slides. The magnification lens is good, you can see close/detailed slides. It has 6 different color diaphragms. I'm not sure what these different color diaphragms for, maybe it was trying to represent LED Fluorescence microscope. I wish this microscope has the stage control, so I won't need to move the slides physically myself to observe the part I want to. In general, I'm satisfied with this microscope. Kids will love Science from childhood with this device.

This microscope is perfect for young kids. It came nicely packaged and seems safe enough in little hands.Feathers and leaves are favorites to magnify.All-in-all, it’s a nice microscope for aspiring scientists.

This was a present for a 7 year old girl. Easy to use. Adjustment of the eyepiece is pretty good, great learning microscope.

The quality of the microscope is very good, the packaging is complete and safe, the accessories are practical, enough for children to do experiments, and it can arouse children's desire for exploration.

Excelente producto para comenzar

Amazing for the price. Opened and has been used like crazy. Sturdy and great for someone who has used one before. Not a great gift for a small child unless supervised as patience is required. Its not lab grade but looks close. The 360 degree scope is pretty cool too. I recommend the sets of prepared slides

I love that it has dual illumination that is powered by cord and not by battery (dual-power would be best, with the ability to put rechargeable batteries in, and have them charge when plugged in. Could do with a few more slides and a proper eye-dropper. A stage that shifts back n forth and left-right would be an excellent addition.As far as durability...just got the thing - used it one afternoon.
