Strong steel, excellent locking top to keep loose items contained for tea and soups. I have had many tea balls and these were surprisingly thick and the lid screws on tightly. Definitely worth the few extra dollars to not need to replace. I have used for fresh herbs teas a few times and for soups and have not had any issues during steeping or cleaning and lid is not bent out of shape. Quality items!

The lids screw on to these little tea infusers with no issues (which I have seen with other similar items). Nice capacity on both sizes as well. Be warned, it's pretty easy to put too many tea leaves in there because these seem to be pretty efficient. I made peppermint tea the first time and it ended up very strong. The steel feels to be pretty high quality and the water flows through the holes nicely but no tea leaves end up in my tea which is a refreshing change from other infusers I have used. Bonus ... each one comes with a small tray to place the strainer on when you are done brewing. We used a round flat magnet stuck to the side of the fridge and the strainer sticks to it for easy access.

This was a great buy. I bought these to make pitchers of tea, so I could stop buying toxic tea bags. I use them multiple times a week, they work great.

I love these tea strainers! They’re great for even the finest of teas. The holes are tiny. Properly steeped the tea tastes unaltered by the metal. They function very nicely. I’d give them 5 stars if they were a bit thicker. However, they’re easy to clean, and the little drip tray keeps your space clean.

These are great quality and very easy to use. They’re also simple to clean, which is a big plus. I like to prep them ahead of time and take them with me to the office to use once I get there. They’re an affordable alternative to the travel tea-steeping cups on the market. I would definitely buy these again.

I use these daily. I like that you can use loose tea or leaves. The cups are very fine mesh so no worries about anything seeping through. the hooks make it convenient to remove the cup from the liquid.

I’ve tried the cute ones that just have a clip to them that look like tea pots or round. Those leave so much sediment in the bottom of my cup. I just got tired of it. I had these before I tried the cute ones and now I’m back to these because they give me the best cup of tea.
