Great Quality - Exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve been using the Chums Braided Leather Retainer for a few weeks now, and I’m impressed. The quality of the material is great and it adds a nice, classic look compared to the typical nylon retainers. If you’re looking for a glasses retainer that’s both practical and stylish (although my daughter would disagree), this is definitely the one to get.

Loses grip after a couple of months
These worked great for a while but have gradually gotten stretched to the point where my glasses slide off. To be fair my glasses are slender, so may work better for others. The leather is nice and is the best part of these.

Great Retainers - Build A Mound On Temple To Keep It From Slipping Off
Except for the rubber loops frequently slipping off the temples, these retainers are perfect. Whereas the nylon retainers irritate my neck, leather does not. In the past I made a mound of superglue to the outside surface of each temple. I simply have not gotten around to doing so for this pair. These are great retainers !

Dear Husband's favorite
My husband loves these! While they're cheaper than other actual leather cords they're braided, sturdy and nicer. Since he's a doofus who loses things we're on his third pair, after having tried lots of others over time.

Very stiff leather
The leather was not flexible and irritated my neck. The attachment to glasses was awkward as well, and there is no adjustment. I returned the product and found one I like.
