I am a huge fan of Brabantia touch bins - yes they are expensive, but they are stylish and good quality. My 50 litre kitchen bin looks as good as the day I bought it almost 20 years ago and on the one occasion that the bin lid mechanism failed, Brabantia replaced it free of charge straight away. I wanted a touch bin for my new downstairs cloakroom and was disappointed that Brabantia don’t do a 5 litre size. I own two 10 litre touch bins which I use in bathrooms, but 10 litres is a bit large for a bin that won’t have a huge amount of use. After reading lots of reviews and seeing that Amazon were doing the 3 litre Brilliant Steel bin at a reduced price, I decided to go for it. It is a lovely bin - yes it’s small, but will only be used by guests and it looks great. It would be good if Brabantia produced a version of the 3 litre and 10 litre touch bins without the wall hanging bracket, as many people (including myself) only want a free standing bin. I can position them so that the wall bracket on the back isn’t visible, but I know that the wall bracket is a turn-off for many buyers.

Closes tightly and does not allow the smell of food to penetrate the kitchen. Looks nice and is fingerprint proof. I use it as a kind of mini countertop bin for teabags and other smaller misc waste. It is very convenient that there is an inside bin that can be removed and washed separately. It is only getting four stars as I had a small problem with the catch when I first used it. Since I learnt to open and close the lid with a gentle touch and that breadcrumbs can block the catch and make the mechanism not work. After washing it thoroughly the problem was solved and I hadn't had a problem with it since. I'd buy it again.

This is probably the best part of my new bathroom renovation that cost around £(a lot). It seems very expensive - £42 for a small bin, but I was able to convince my wife of the benefits and now that we have it, she agrees big time. Firstly, we got the white one, looks great in our mainly white and black/grey bathroom. Subtle but outstanding at the same time. It attaches to the wall so there is no bin being kicked around, no lifting of the bin to clean under it and the lid comes right off without have to screw it tug on it. It is overall a clean and simple and good looking solution. I highly recommend it - in the grand scheme of things, it is a worthwhile investment in my humble opinion. The bin comes with some free bin liners.

Small but perfectly formed. This is a very stylish bin, just the right size for a bathroom. I'm using it freestanding so took off the bracket which was very simple to do (no tools required). This leaves four little slots on the outer casing which is not a problem as it sits up against the wall and cannot be seen. It's good to have the option to be able to have it wall mounted. The lid works perfectly, just a light touch to open/close. It comes with a few drawstring bags to get you started. They fit perfectly well with no unsightly overhang and are very easy to change. A little pricey, but the quality and style is worth it.

The lid mechanism that opens by touch has stopped working after just 2 months of use. This means that the bin lid now can't be opened by touching it and leaves the bin practically useless and needing replaced. There is no option on Amazon to request replacements or refunds so I'm stuck with this overpriced broken bin. Extremely displeased with this product.

A very stylish item, as you would expect from Brabantia. It's quite small, which is what we wanted to hold food scraps, hung on the back of the sink cupboard door. The lid opens smoothly at a touch and the inner plastic bin is sturdy and easy to clean. The outside stainless steel finish really does wipe clean without leaving marks - I wish our other stainless steel surfaces were so easy to keep clean. We are very pleased with it.

On a recent trip to London, we noticed this trashcan in a hotel room and loved it went online and got it. It’s a little pricey, but it’s a cool addition to your bathroom and seems to be made very well.

Bra Brabantia kvalitet. Har tidigare, sedan 10 år, samma produkt monterad, är även idag helt fungerande. Lite dyr men Brabantia är känd för kvalitet.
