Great set of slides.
Excellent quality slides. Came with a booklet so you know what you're looking at, unlike others. Only complaint is that the list of items is UNDER the slides. Would be better if they'd position it on the opposite, ie the inside lid.Suggestion: Please make more types of slides!

Suitable not only for beginners also for people who loves microworld and tiny things
This is a wonderfull set of slides of incredible beauty. Suitable not only for beginners also for biology and college students. I fully recommend. The only thing that must be corrected it is inside the wood case. The slots where the slides fit are crooked and not completely straight. So if you do not take proper care this can cause the breakage of one of the slides when trying to put it in position. Another detail is that the cardboard box came with a small hole.

Great buy
My son loves anything science related and loves these slides I purchased for Christmas. I opened them before wrapping just to make sure nothing was broke and everything was in tact. The little wooden box/holder is very nice and sturdy and has a label telling you where each slide should be. The only problem I had that others may not have is I opened it (accidentally) upside down, I did so slowly so nothing broke thank God, but the labels were helpful in putting everything back in it’s proper spot. He said the slides show great details.

Better than expected
The slides are well organized, marked and prepared. The study guide is very helpful and includes a separate multiple language guide. The only recommendation for improvement is to put the index on the inside cover of the box instead of underneath the slides (or both) because the index is hard to read when the slides are in place. The study guide is just a summary of the slide but coupled with an internet search, it's terrific. A budding biologist will eat this up!

Organized, excellent prepped slides.
PROS: GREAT samples, packaging is excellent, I love the box that they come in and how the wood has a finish on the outside. There are slots for each slide, and if you take out multiple slides, the bottom of the box is labeled with the slide that is supposed to go there, so you know where to put them back. I like this because I prefer to keep everything in order, especially samples that are plant related and animal tissue related.CONS: they came in a bit dusty. I'm not sure if it is because of the foam protector sheet that lines the top of the box or from the wood, but there was definitely a dusty substance on each slide. This was an easy fix. I took one of my soft bristled water colour paint brushes and brushed off the dust. It did not leave any scratches or residue on the slides.

I would recommend this to parents who have little scientists and explorers
My 7-year-old son is a little scientist, fascinated with how things work, including cells, organs, and the human anatomy. I got him this to go with the microscope he received for Christmas. He loves it. He was even drawing pictures of the cells he observed. The box itself snaps shut, and has a tiny table of contents where you can match up each slide in its respective slot. Each slide is labeled and permanently holds the cover glass with the specimen. I would recommend this to parents who have little scientists and explorers.

excellent gift
I purchased these for my grandsons ages 8,6,4. I also got them small microscopes to see if they would be interested in science. ( my favorite subject when I was in school) they all loved it. They got tons of toys for Christmas but as soon as they opened it they all ran to the dining room table with dad to check it out, they were there for 2 hrs looking at every slide. Grandma scored a home run with this. It’s awesome!!

Slides poorly printed, and covered in residue and fingerprints.
The slides are cool, and have decent pictures in them. Of course, for human body parts they are images only. The problem I had was the pictures were grainy and under a microscope they are clearly badly printed. The slides themselves were FILTHY. They are covered in residue of what I would assume is something they use to wash them before sending them off, but the residue was so thick I had to wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. Several of the slides also had finger prints of whomever handled them last before they were packaged. For something you want clear and crisp for close up viewing... it was a little disappointing. Once cleaned, they are fine for my children to use as a learning experience in our classroom, but I was expecting slightly higher quality from National Geographic.
