Dead within a few months
The media could not be loaded. Got these about 3 months ago. Currently only 1 is working and it's because it's in a closet. All the others were installed in rooms where they're used more daily and all started flickering and going dead within the last 2 weeks. It starts at the low light level and eventually gets worse.

A solution in search of a problem?
This is an LED light bulb that replaces the formerly common 60 watt incandescent bulb, commonly used in table lamps, nightstand lights, closets, etc., where a "medium" brightness is needed. In general, these LED lights are a good replacement for incandescent bulbs as they use far less energy (9 watts vs. 60 watts), last much longer, operate at a cooler temperature (radiate less heat), and their cost has come down considerably as they have become ubiquitous. (Plus, if you haven't noticed, incandescent bulbs are being phased out.) They also produce a more "pleasing," natural light than CFLs (compact fluorescent lights). However, unless I'm not being imaginative enough, I'm not sure how functional this feature is, that each time you turn on the light, you decide which color temperature best fits your current situation. When you first turn it on, it lights at the relatively warmer, 2700 level; turn off and then on again and it changes to the "cool white" 4K temp, and one more off then on switch brings up the mixed (most natural) "color" temp of 5K. When you turn the light off at any level of color temp, and then go back later to turn the lamp on again, it starts at the warm 2700 level. There are no instructions in the box which, on the outside merely says "9W 3-SETTING LED BULB A19 E26 BASE." There is more info about them on the Amazon website where they are sold. Also I verified they are not "dimmable" with an in-line dimmer for lamps.Usually these color choices in LED lamps are governed by a remote, but with this light bulb, you cycle through the three choices by using the light switch. I guess if the light was controlled by an outlet connected to a wall switch, the same procedure would be used to select which temp you wanted at the moment. So, if this kind of functionality is what you want in a table lamp, nightstand lamp, ceiling light, etc., it could fit your needs. But if you just want an LED light bulb that always is at the same color temp, there are simpler options. Note: changing the color temperature of the light isn't the same as changing the brightness level (amount of light emitted or lumens), although the different color temps do appear to have some difference in brightness. If you want to control the level of brightness you would need some sort of dimmer functionality. This also is now usually controlled by a remote, or a switch on the lamp.

Nice tri-color bulbs
First off I only gave one star for remote because there is no remote. That said, these are nice bulbs for the price. You have three different color modes 2700, 4000 and 5000, and you access these moods by turning the light switch on and off. By default you start out at the 2700—warmest setting and then the second setting is 4000—medium in the in the third setting is 5000—cool and bright setting. So no matter what mode you had it on previously when you turn it off and then come back you'll end up starting out on the 2700 mode once again. These are LED light bulbs, would you have some advantages over the traditional incandescent. These would be the equivalent to the old 60W incandescent bulbs and requires only 9 watt providing a fairly large savings on energy cost. Another advantage or I guess convenience, would be their heat dissipation. After having them on for hours you can walk back to them and touch them without burning your fingertips. All three color modes are comfortable and pleasant however, the 2700 warm setting is the is the most comfortable in my opinion. All in all, a great lightbulb at a great price, if you're cool with cycling through the different color modes whenever you want to turn on the lights then I'd highly recommend this bulb.
