Made my slow gin perfect and the price was very good would buy again

I have used these berries before and they are just as good as picking them fresh. The key to a good sloe gin is using a top quality gin - after all you get out what you put in! The berries were not on the trees this year as they did not form properly. These packs are just right with any berries that are left over kept in the freezer for next year! Cheers!

Only ever used fresh sloes to make sloe gin before but these dried ones did the same job. Need to soak them before putting them in the gin. I’ve left them in the gin now for about 5 weeks and have had a sneaky taste already - tastes good!

What a complete waste of money . to make sloe gin you need the juice from the sloes . Even after soaking in warm water they remained dry and unusable. Never buy again

Arrived very within a couple of days of ordering. I haven't used dried sloes before to make sloe gin so fingers crossed for a good result!After giving them a good rinse I soaked them in water for 24 hours they plumped up nicely dont forget sloes are a bit bullet like when you pick them fresh so dont expect dried ones to be soft after soaking. If the gin works ok with dried sloes I will make it this way in the future I'm finding it a bit hit and miss finding fresh ones and picking them can be painful!!
