This is the one!!
I don't leave many reviews, but this one bears mentioning. The fit and finish is excellent, and perfectly matches Sony's materials. A lot of these types of things are "close" or "okay", but I have to say this is as close to a perfect factory match I've seen. The action on the buttons feels great, they don't feel cheap. Two things I really really like about this one: First, it does NOT have any branding on it. I hate these aftermarket parts that have a big cheesy brand name ("Neweer" I'm looking at you...). This has no branding on it at all, so you cannot tell it isn't a OEM grip. Second (and maybe others have this too, but should be mentioned), You have to remove the battery cover, and the grip has a nice little spot to lock it in place. I overlooked this at first, and was thinking, 'geez I better be very careful not to lose this cover..', but after going back and looking over the instructions again, I saw they accounted for that. Awesome! This means if you're in the field and want to ditch the grip, you can do so very quickly without fumbling around to find that cover.I highly recommend this grip, couldn't be happier. The one and only ask I would have for this product is if they would sell additional battery trays separately. I'd love to have a second one in my kit already loaded up with full batteries, so I could just slap a new battery sled in there. But, that's minor. For the record, this is on my Sony A7R-ii

Phantastic, very good and practical - and much cheaper than the Sony's "original".
