First off I need to make it clear this bullet cctv cam is NOT weather proof, so cannot be used outside. The front glass easily unscrews exposing the lens. Neither the glass boss nor the lens have any Orings or sealant applied.Second, the manual is nothing more than a reprint of some of the information used in the advert, so cannot be used to help setup the camera in any way. And, as it’s on shiny paper, I can’t even use it to polish my derrière.Third, despite requesting information on how the OSD (ON Screen Display) can be accessed I have so far received no reply.As it was ‘Fullfilled by Amazon’ I’m not even allowed to contact the seller/manufacturer. It seems the game is if you can’t work the item then open a case and try to get your money back. I don’t want that, I just want the information that should have been in the manual. Even ‘asking a question’ on the original advert has been denied.This is so frustrating as the camera is perfect for my needs, works brilliantly, but I just need to access the privacy mask. The description says there are 4 mask areas, but without OSD they cannot be set.Now, I suspect that the camera is what they call UTC (Up The Coax) so can be set by a UTC controller, but ‘for obvious reasons’ I’m loathe to purchase an extra bit of kit to use just once, and also not being sure that this is what is actually needed.The light levels needed for this camera are a lot in excess of the 0.01 lux advertised. It works at night with 850nm lighting, but not with the more covert 940nm. Thus, the dastardly miscreants will see the dull red light and know they will soon be on ‘utube’. It appears as though there is a high level ir filter installed and the true lux level needed is more like 0.1.This little camera is very robust, and looks as though it should last for some time, but, as I said, not if you leave it outside. Also, it is small enough to hide well away from the 850nm light so any guests rifling your jewelry box while pretending to look for the loo will hopefully smash the light and miss the camera.There were cheaper cameras but I thought the extra money would buy me peace of mind. Doh!! When will I learn the difference between dear and cheap is just the price.However, had the manual been of any use I would have done the 5* salute.Edit: I have since found out that UTC does not work with this camera. I cannot find anyway to adjust any of the variables in the advertised description using a PTZ DVR, UTC or any other enabling devices, therefore I can only assume that the description of the settable functions is just an invention of the suppliers imagination.A real shame that they have to embellish the abilities just to get a sale. And, just as they probably rely on, the frigging about trying to get the thing to do what is advertised invariably leads to some 'scuffing' making it not worth the trouble of trying to explain away for a return.If you want a camera that works on a simple level, out of the box, then this will do, but I have to tell you there are much better cheaper options on Amazon.

It does work on PAL and is reasonably made for the money. However it is doubtful whether it is weatherproof. But for indoor use then fine. Video quality is OK. Low light is not bad.

Bought this as an add on to an annke DVR system, it's plug and play! Really impressed with the quality of build and the picture quality is very clear day and night (I have an external light source).Because of its size, shape and no infrared lights it's easily hidden.Highly recommended

These are Not water proof! I can tell you that from painful experience. They work OK ...just make sure you use them in the dry!!!!

Small, effective and easy to install. Good resolution and performance in limited light. A good solution

The description is not the same as what I received - no osd and therefore no user accessible settings.
