Red Gift Box - Nuts & Fruits

This review is towards the customer service. My product box arrived opened and damaged from Amazon shipping process. This product was for a gift but now ungiftable so I emailed customer service and they took care of the issue promptly. The interior of the product was still in good condition and I'm not a fan of dried fruits but these were very fresh and the few selected fruits I like tasted really good even for someone who is not a fan of dried fruit. Nuts were good too.

When in doubt ,this does not disappoint. Looks delicious, and seems a perfect gift to be shared by guests. I will say that sometimes the fruit is not as tasty,as other times.I think this must be due to how much time it takes from factory to purchase time.While the price is not cheap,giving the consumer options to choose what they would prefer to taste is a plus,and the presentation of the fruits is eye catching!

I sent this to my adult children as a little snack to enjoy while watching TV. They put out what was left of it (most of it) at a birthday gathering. I was surprised it barely look touched so I tasted the kiwi. It had such an odd taste, not like kiwi at all. I tried the dried apricots and could not bite into it. It was rubbery and did not taste fresh. I was surprised the pistachios were still in the package because my granddaughter loves them, but after eating two of them, I could see why no one wanted to try them. They were more stale than the ones offered at the local job lot store. The fourth item was also very stale. I was so embarrassed and upset that I spent $21 and there was not one thing to enjoy in the item. It was also WAY smaller than the picture suggested. I wish I had brought the "gift" home so I could return it but I left it in the confusion of the day. Very disappointed because it was the first thing in ten years of ordering similar items that was embarrassing.

Mom's in a nursing home and finding a gift isn't always easy. She gobbled this tray up in matter of days. She shared with her roommate and they enjoyed it with a movie. It's been two months and she asked if I'm sending dried fruit for Mother's Day. I guess I will be purchasing this tray again and again. (This tray doesn't come in a fancy wood tray or basket. It's disposable when empty which is good for limited space.)

I used to order this for my dad for the holidays in the past and he liked them. This year I thought it would be nice to get one for my place as a healthy holiday snack. I got it this morning, and the container smelt very plastic like. The nuts are stale, but the dried fruit is okay. I don't think I will send these out to my dad again if half of the set is stale.

This is a gift for my husband’s family in his recent visit. They said the fruits were a bit chewy for them ( His grandparents are in their 80s) but they absolutely are in love with the flavor and how fresh it was. I had a hard time figuring out what to give them since my husband hadn’t been back for a while. This is just a perfect present. For for family members and any occasions :)
