This is an excellent book and I love the scene detailing pages. As a screenwriter myself I value the direction other people provide. I take what works for me. This is worth buying and I’ll look at the other instructional editions.

This has been a super useful book in the series! Lots of thought-provoking data elements to consider, multiple plots can be represented, and the most important part: everything's organized and simplified in such a way that picking this book up and setting it down works well.

I ordered this reluctantly. I felt like I already had an idea of the plot for my 2nd novel and that it wouldn't be helpful, but since I liked the other books in the series, I figured I'd just check it out. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I flipped through it. I started using it and realized so much more about my plot that I hadn't thought of. I immediately ordered 3 more copies to start plotting out my 3rd novel and the following series. Even if you think you don't need plotting assistance, order this book - you won't regret it!

All my previous creative writing courses taught the 9-point plot outline for fiction writing. This workbook is outlined for the 7-point format. This complicates things for me. UN-true to its title, there is very little education or "help" to plotting. Just a full page, slanted line and some zig-zag line pages. I assume for plotting? There are 45-pages of various calendars (?). I have a calendar on my wall. I'm good.I did like the character pages, but the more one builds a character, the faster the form becomes confining and inadequate. People are complicated .. even fake ones.I won't put a mark in this book, but may use a few ideas. A worthy effort for folks that learned the 7-point plotting method, but didn't help me much.

I'm wanting to try my hand at fiction writing again (haven't done it since high school). I found another book in the series this one's in, and I was so impressed by it, I decided to pick this one up, as well. Going to be using it for NaNoWriMo 2023, and pretty much ALL projects going forward.

I love for it's laid out. It has a way of getting a lazy writer's brain thinking. 😂Good points to consider and follow through on.

Great book for the purpose 👍
