This stacking kit is very sturdy and made it easy to safely secure my washer and dryer. The adjustable design is great because it works with multiple sizes, and I had no problem setting it up for my 29-inch units. Everything fit snugly, and the ratchet strap provides extra stability so I don’t have to worry about movement or shifting while the machines are running. One feature I really like is the pull-out drying rack. It’s a smart addition and comes in handy for laying out smaller items that I don’t want to put in the dryer. The rack slides in and out smoothly and tucks away neatly when not in use, so it doesn’t take up any extra space. Overall, this is a strong and practical kit that makes stacking easy while also adding useful functionality. For the price, it’s a great value, and it feels very reliable once installed. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone needing a secure and space-saving stacking solution.

This works perfectly on my electrolux set, was simple to install and I didn't need to screw anything into the wall. The vibrations are virtually gone.

Good and strong I like it

Gave this stacking kit a month of use before reviewing. Some negative reviews read before purchasing seemed a bit suspect as to the integrity of the installation but purchased anyway instead of paying much more for the manufacturers simple brackets to accomplish the same task. Kit came timely and complete, was easy to assemble and install on the lower, washer unit. Only real issue in placing the dryer is that it has to be lifted, not slid into place. The 4 corner pieces of the mounting frame have locating "walls" or edging to hold against the 2 units so sliding the dryer in place can't be done. One corner section moved slightly when mounting the dryer but a couple of gentle taps with a rubber mallet worked to position it properly. The ratchet strap installed easily and was able to get to the right tension to hold the dryer solidly in place without starting to buckle the sheet metal of the outer cabinet panels. Made all the connections and moved the stack in place. Make sure you push/pull on the lower washer unit to place, the strapped on dryer is not strong enough to use as leverage for placing the stack. The first couple of heavy spin cycles were monitored to see if we were going to have any issues but things were just fine. It has been a month now with no problems. The ratchet strap has held tension without problems. The pull out shelf works for holding clothes removed from the dryer. I believe trying to use a laundry basket on the shelf with the stack configuration would be cumbersome, especially for a shorter person. Bottom line-very pleased. This was a good buy, less costly than the factory option with a shelf thrown in.

Have had this installed with a heat pump dryer on top for at least a year now, no issues.

Our son bought a compact washer and dryer that was the floor model. Somehow Best Buy lost the stacking kit that came with the set and held it together in the store. LG was out of stock with no estimated date for when they would be in stock. We looked for other options and found this on Amazon and took a chance. The biggest complaint we saw was the noise made by the metal part on the strap that secures the units. The picture shows the stacked units with the kit (we used the 24 inch size) and the foam which we cut to size and used around the metal part (foam purchased at Home Depot). There is no noise and no shaking. Units feel stable and secure. Needed two people to lift the unit and one to guide it. We definitely recommend this aftermarket adjustable stacking kit!
