Great stacking planter for strawberries
Just ordered a second set of these. The first set seemed sturdy and large enough for strawberry plants. They fit together well and there is a hole down the middle where a pole can be placed to help with rigidity. We shall have a stack of 10 so I’ve added a pole. Decided to try some vertical growing as we live in the north and I wanted to grow strawberries in our polytunnel without using too much space. 40 plants in a 40cm square space sounds good use of growing room.

It was much larger than we were expecting
This is a very well-made plant sits well in our conservatory and looks very nice in the stone effect. We now have it full of lettuce and strawberries and all seem to be doing well.

Sturdy planter
Using this stackable planter for strawberries, great so far no real complaints. Only negative is it would be great if the end had castor wheels as it would be easier to turn around. But would recommend

The column needs more stability than just clipping the planter together
The 1st time I planted the entire column twice because a cat came along and toppled it over. My Strawberries and pepper plants were not very successful. I'm not sure if it was the dynamics of the pots, the constant need to water them or the fact I had to replant the seedlings twice when the column was knocked over 🤔 This year I cut holes in the middle of each planter and put a plastic drain pipe down the centre. I drilled holes in the pipe before putting it down the column of planters. I now fill that with uncooked vegetable waste which (hopefully) brings more nutrients to the seedlings and plants. I'll let you know how it goes.

Smaller than pic

stands taller than others, has more drainage holes then similar products and i like that I put in a centre pole to stack it up even higher.
