Optimum No Rinse Version 5 (32 Oz) and Big Red Sponge (BRS) Car Cleaning Kit, ONR Rinseless Car Wash and Wash Sponge for Washing and Auto Detailing

A friend of mine told me about this product and when he explained to me how it was rinseless, I thought he was daffy. Nope, turns out I'm just behind the times. I am new to the whole hand-washing routine, so I never kept on products. Anyway, it's like it says and it's pretty amazing. My garage setup is not really conducive to using a hose or a pressure washer, so I was looking for a solution that would allow me to work with buckets only and, well, this is it. As other reviews say, it's a very simple and effective product. Just dump however many capfuls you need into your water, mix it up, soak your sponge/rag/glove and go to work. It's best to work sections as you don't want the product to sit; I learned that the hard way. Basically, clean a section of the vehicle, then wipe it dry, get more soap on your cleaning implement, then move onto the next section, then dry it. Rinse and repeat. Hah. It may seem weird to not use any water to rinse, but I promise you it works. Product smells nice and leaves a great shine. I'm not sure how well it protects the paint, or if it even does, but the car looks super clean and that's all that's really expected in my opinion. Added bonus is that because of the no rinse nature, it definitely saves on water to use this in lieu of a more traditional soap. I can use a 2 gallon bucket and easily do my sedan with it. After every wash, the car looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. I doubt I'll get tired of that. My one negative is the sponge that comes in the "kit." It works fine, I guess, but I felt like it was very easily trapping particles in it that could potentially cause scratches. Thankfully, nothing actually happened, but seeing random debris caught in the fabric made me nervous. I still have the sponge, but I've since started using a glove from another company and I feel it works much better.

Stuff is amazing. I am now a believer. Adds a shine and is effortless. Good water shedding/beading. Easy to use. No streaking. I recommend using two towels to dry. One to dry and another to lightly buff as you dry. I keep one towel in each hand. Very little buffing required if you even want to call it that. Works great on granite countertops too. Shines like crazy and beads up water on the counter.

Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine (ONR) has been a game changer for washing my truck, especially during the winter months. It's way better than going to a touchless carwash. In about 45 minutes, my truck looks brand new without the need for any rinsing! I use a sprayer to apply the ONR, which makes the process even smoother. At first, I used the sponge that came with it, but now I prefer microfiber towels for the job. I wet my truck with ONR in the sprayer, let it dwell, then use two microfibers with a little ONR in a bucket to wash and then dry. The best part? You can clean and instantly wipe away dirt without rinsing with water! This is a huge time-saver and significantly reduces water usage compared to a foam cannon. It’s a must-have, especially for anyone with a black truck like mine, which shows every speck of dirt. ONR leaves my truck looking fresh, and it smells great too! If you haven't tried this yet, do yourself a favor and get it—you won’t regret it

As a guy who grew up dreading the process of finding the hose and decent sponge and a clean wash bucket and finding the dish soap all to wash the car - this has changed the game. (and yes - I will stand still while you throw heavy objects at me for using dish soap on my car... I know... I now see the errors of my teen years! ... I know much better now!). NOW - fast forward a couple of decades and we find ourselves staring at a gorgeous blue bottle of ONR... WOW! Does this stuff WORK! Now keep in mind, it's meant to clean a light-to-moderately soiled car. If you have caked on mud - try another approach. But for regular road dust - or just to give it a quick ZING to your car - you can't beat this stuff! I use it as an interim "I don't want to break out all the detailing kit" measure - so the car isn't ever any dirtier than a light dusting - BUT it takes me a couple of minutes and the car is sparkling as a result. I really like the sponge that comes in this kit - it's awesome. I didn't use the included microfibre cloth as a trying towel (I have other ones I use), but I've used it for other cleaning purposes and it's great. All said - this is a great kit! It's easy. It's effective. It's a great way to keep your ride shiny! GET this and enjoy washing your car!

Top quality rinseless car wash. Excellent sponge. Good quality plush drying towel. All at a good price. I would buy two more of the towels if I could.

Tenía tiempo viendo videos sobre como se utiliza este producto, y me animé a comprarlo. La verdad si cumplió mis expectativas. Lavé 2 carros con una cubeta sin problema. Uno de los carros estaba manchado de aguas de la calle que otro carro pringó en un momento. ONR disolvió esta suciedad sin problemas y la esponja lo absorbió como si nada. Es uno de los lavados de mis carros más rápidos y satisfactorios que he hecho.
