This product did not work without modification. After assembly and adding bait, the trap would just stay open. I had to add counterweight jut to get the trap to be set. I did catch mice, but they are able to climb out after falling in. The ladder is 2 parts that slip together. The way they interface is backward, so as the mouse is waking up it can easily fall apart. The trap design works but this one was poorly executed. The manufacturer probably tried to copy other traps of this style and didn't know what they were doing. Do not buy this product unless you just want a fun way to feed mice!

Had problems with mice making nest in the equipment out in the shed. Sick of constantly resetting conventional mouse traps. It is a little flimsy but gets the job done. Over 10 mice lost their lives when using this product

This is very cheaply made. Does not include the bucket. One of the tabs broke off the ladder when trying to assemble this. The door wants to open without a mouse on it. Their solution was to provide a roll of tape.

I didnt realise how unnerving it is to see a bunch of mice live in a bucket. It does work well but scarry to let them go as they all scatter and two ran right to me and one climed up my pant leg. Bucket does not come with this item. I used a 5 gallon pail from the home store.

Did not work as advertised. The flipper goes down, but does not come back up mouse can easily escape lid does not fit tightly even with the tape they give you mouse can escape and push lit up. This product is a piece of garbage.

The idea in general works great but this setup feels cheaply made. Assembly went pretty quick and is straight foward. Do be aware that the plastic does have a tendency to break really easy in the ladder portion and may need reinforced. The setup fit great on a 5 gallon home depot bucket but the biggest draw back is that there is no spring to set the door. I really wish one was include as it is basically necessary to make it work right.

Good product... Use just enough water to require swimming for your target species.We went with the recommendation for Nutella as our starting bait and were able to catch a couple in the first 2 nights in the garage. We have switched to peanut butter for continued use. There was a recommendation to put some olive oil or veg oil on top of the water if there is a risk of things jumping out.. We did not need to do that and targets stayed in the deep end of the pool. :)I do recommend putting the Peanut butter, Nutella, etc. in the top of the front area instead of on the plank.

The lid does not fit the top of the bucket, I’ve tried 3 different brands. The ramp is made so it needs to be installed upside down from how it should go with the middle connection. And the flap it terrible. Once you put a half a tea spoon of peanut butter on the flap. You need to counter balance it so it stays flat and operates correctly.Sheer junk and waste of money. Find a better brand.Steve M
