But things are going to be a little different this year. Dumbledore announces that Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament, one of the most exciting and dangerous of the wizarding community's magical competitions. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead. Note to customers There is a trailer for The Polar Express which link into the start of Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban.

Service, information & quality
First, the service at Amazon.co.uk is more then excellent.I did order the box Friday, June 10 and received the box today June 13.Even more impressing since I live in Sweden and not in UK.Everything was very well packed and I'm happy!Second, the information on this page about the box is not making the box justice. There is audio as well as subtitles on the most common languages in Europe.English (of course), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish to mention some of audio-choices.On subtitles is there even more to choose from.So the box is suitable both for adults as for children :-)And third, the quality is excellent. I use PS3, and the movies are really coming to life on a LCD-screen.

The adventure begins
Bought this for dark winter nights to enjoy one film an evening. The five films are generally of excellent quality. The acting in the first two films is a bit stage school, but this was overcome by the third film.Probably the best films are The Goblet of Fire and The Prisoner of Azkaban, which is also when the series started 'to go darker'.The Order Of The Phoenix isn't quite as good as the others, although the character of Imelda Fudge is an invention of pure nightmare for children who think adults don't listen to them.Warning - you may find yourself snacking while watching the films, as chocolate frogs come to mind every time they get on the train to Hogworts.

Discs not tested prior to dispatch
I'm all for upcycling but I assume that dvd's are tested before trying sell them.2 out of 5 disks worked for a while, then failed ( they were visibly scratched ), I also checked with multiple dvd players devices - same issue.Lesson learned.

Harry Potter Philosopher's Stone Disc 1 of 5
I am almost 65 years old and this is the first time I have watched anything to do with H.P. I considered just for children, whether I'm reaching second childhood not sure. Thoroughly enjoyable and exciting and according to my own children I have much to look forward to. Even my wife thought it was good.

Worth it
I was surprised by the low value, particularly compared to the Years 1-6 box, and with Years 1-7 coming soon, it is good for those wishing to restock their collection, and well worth the small price, just to revisit classic scenes. If you are REALLY stinging out, wait for Years 1-7, which will undoubtedly be in a more presentable casing, but this boxset arrived ahead of time, in great condition, with no scratches over any of the five discs.Good buy. :)

Very Pleased.
At an even better price than Sainsbury's could offer, and sold as a proper box set ( as opposed to singles ) I am very happy with this set. Harry Potter is as watchable as ever, have wanted the whole set complete for a while now. Amazon's price was too good to miss. Amazon are also the best where delivery is concerned. A great buy all round.
