Terrible product
This is an absolute garbage baby monitor and really expensive as well. First of all, the phone # they have for product issues always has a message saying they are too busy and to email them, no matter what time of day you call. It took us a couple of weeks to get the miku working, we emailed them back and forth and they did not resolve the original issue of the miku completely not working/connecting to Wi-Fi until we threatened to return the product then all of a sudden the support figured out that our miku did not have the latest update. After it started ‘working’ we noticed that it didn’t record most things, such as us picking the baby up or the nanny picking him up, when we reach out to support they told us the miku adapts to frequent common events and stops recording them…I think someone picking up our baby should be a big enough event that the monitor records not matter what. And the sleep tracker is flat out wrong, it tells us our baby is sleeping when he isn’t even in the crib or that he is sleeping when he is wide awake and crying. Do NOT BUY this, waste of money and time. We are now waiting for our return to be approved by miku even though it’s within the 30day time line.

Peace of mind
This is our first baby monitor and we’re very pleased with it.The monitor arrived really quickly and it came very well packaged and easy to assemble. The one we got came with a floor stand which was straightforward to assemble and makes it so that we can be versatile in how we place it. The box was surprisingly heavy to us when we first got it, but it’s a testament to the nice build quality of the camera and stand. I don’t imagine this will ever topple over. The app’s onboarding process is designed very nicely and was straightforward and clear to use.Definitely comes at a higher price point but with vitals tracking, no subscription cost (for most users) and high definition footage it definitely stands out in the category.

Buggy and not very easy to use
UPDATE 6/11/23: My Miku Pro no longer works. I received on 5/4/23 and have used like no normal - nothing crazy. Tonight, it wigged out (like usual) and when I went to unplug and replug in (per their suggestion), it would not turn on. Seems this is a known issue. Have not been able to reach support yet. Changing to 1 star until this is resolved.I love that we dont need a wearable and love the breathing tracking (when its working) as it really does give peace of mind.That said, the camera is buggy. It's incredibly hard to get the notifications and alarms to work, so I never fully trust they're working. Even if I did, I'd be nervous the camera shut down/went offline.Only tracks breathing (no rollover or anything like that), which is helpful but a bit limited.Says it keeps a log of all activity even when app is closed (and camera is on), but it often seems to be missing - especially when the app isn't on your screen.I am always having to mess with the camera and connection for 10-15 min (at least) when I turn it on before I can feel comfortable that it is working due to issues.Should be able to trust something this expensive, but, unfortunately, that is not the case here.

If you're looking for real-time breathing, without a wearable, this is for you!
Our friend recommended the Miku and it’s been great! The thing that sets it apart from other monitors is the real-time breathing and alerts. It’s also great for tracking sleep and timing of naps and as a mom of a 5m old, those things are necessary! The alerts and sound are also even more real-time than our current monitor, no more lag time time/surround sound crying! The Miku’s background noise also mutes a lot more than our other monitor allowing for a better sleep for Mom and Dad overnight. When setting up the app, we did have some issues with connectivity, but after some easy troubleshooting it’s been great. If you’re looking for a live breathing without a wearable, the Miku is for you!

Scam
Having used this product for 3 months, the company has sold to IHM, who are now requiring a subscription. They have hidden the features we bought this for (specifically heart rate monitoring) behind a $9.99 monthly subscription fee. You can only get the video without the subscription. This expensive monitor was specifically sold as not having hidden subscription fees. Avoid at all costs.

Easy to assemble, easy to use
Unboxing this product was super quick and easy - we got it set up right away! Using the app takes a little getting used to if you're used to a separate monitor device, but its worth it. The app is easy to navigate and use, simple to understand, and the picture quality is perfect. An elevated way to monitor your sleeping kiddo!

Don’t buy this camera
I really loved this camera before Miku went bankrupt and then decided to charge people for using the camera. There is now a membership for using the camera that so many people used it for free before. This is incredibly greedy, and I would rather stop using this camera then pay for a service that came free especially because the camera isn’t cheap.

This no longer works after 6 months of use
After using this for only 6 months it will not connect to the internet. Without that it does not work. 600& wasted
