Most comfortable headphones I own
I've tried many different headphones and these DT 880s, along with the DT 770 Pros, are easily the most comfortable set I have for all-day wear. They are also by far the best build quality at this price (and beat more expensive sets) - I've had HM5s which the hangers break on, AKGs that the removal wires last less than 6 months before becoming intermittent. I have no fears of this happening with Beyerdynamic headphones - and should it happen, getting replacement parts is not an issue because, get this, Beyerdynamic will actually sell you the parts instead of making you buy a replacement.Sound quality is fabulous too - generally neutral across the spectrum, perhaps the mids dip a little, but it's a mild complaint at best, and they respond well to EQ - nice wide soundstage and not terrible sound leakage, but they are semi-open so it's not something for wearing at the library.Overall, Beyerdynamic is easily becoming my favourite headphone manufacturer. 9/10.

If you need to hear a pin drop in the middle of a rave then...
These headphone are just so comfy and light, the sound quality is exceptional with full rich responsive bass and crisp hi range audio and everything between is just there and more. Made the switch from hi fidelity gaming headphones and the difference is night and day, I didn't know what my ears were missing.I have only one little thing that caused a bump in the road, for every day use by a non professional it will require a Amp, I bought the 250 ohm DT880's and my PC was unable to drive them effectively (Paired mine with Fiio K5 Pro DAC/Amp which is too loud for me @75% volume on high gain) .I highly recommend these as a great set of starter headphones if you require an accurate recreation of sound.

Almost Perfect
Sound Quality:Incredible highs. Just crystal clear, well balanced, phenomenal depth. My benchmark for testing the highs on headphones is "Cherry Coloured Funk" and listening to it on these was like hearing it for the first time. Just great. The bass is quite poor. However, you're never going to get that deep, claustrophobic bass on a pair of (semi-)open backs that you would get on closed back.Overall, great sound stage, good mids, great highs, lacking bass.Comfort:Super comfortable. Wear them for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. No complaints about the comfort. My one issue is that the metal frame doesn't click into place very well when you adjust cup position so I have to reset it virtually every time put them back on.Value for Money:On the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

EXCELLENT SOUND
I spent far too much time reading reviews of headphones. I wanted an over-ear set for comfort an open backed set for better sound (I listen on my own). In the end after looking at reviews and specs. I went for these. Wow!! The sound is everything I was looking for. Clear, good across the frequency range, great clarity --- can't find a fault. I tried the Grado SR80e's and I have to say the sound is good but too sharp and punchy for my tastes and the build quality is poor. You do need a good source for the headset. Straight from my Motorola G6 the sound is ropey to say the least. Include a DAC (I have a Cyrus Soundstage) and the sound is fantastic. Over Plex great sound. Off my PC sounds OK but with the DAC so much better. From my Denon mini player again superb sound - as good as my really good Dali speakers. These headphones are v comfortable and I could wear them all day. They fit my fairly large ears v well. They are described as semi-open - so I can hear people in the same room talking but its not too distracting and the sound other hear is not excessive. All round - if you want a headset with superb sound and great comfort go for these.

Excellent sound for the price.
A pair of Sennheiser HD650 bought a couple of years ago always disappointed, with weak upper treble and a lack of sparkle (matched to a very good amp and cd player). I have had Sennys for the last 40yrs and decided now might be a good time to try something new. Took a punt on the Beyerdynamic DT880 250ohm to get some clean bass and more top, not expensive 'phones but fine for routine listening. They certainly do not disappoint. If their clean and well-balanced sound is typical of Beyerdynamics in general, the Amirons will replace my HD650's very soon.

Good monitor headphones from Germany.
I was positively struck by the design and amount of metal in the headphones, quite comfortable (breathable, not too tight), although I would have liked the actual feeling of it to be slightly more ergonomic, but then again it's a one-size-fits-all mass produced pair of headphones. Sounds alright on my dedicated Creative speakers, probably even better sounding with a headphone amplifier. 3 metres long cable. Recommend.

Quality product
Based on the reviews given for this Headset i bought them & my wife & I are impressed with the listening experience through them , these German crafted headsets are beautifully presented in a black soft zipped case which I probably wont use as I have a white matching streamline holder stand to complement my dali specktor2 s.either side .a very good buy full Mark's for this impressive product

Excellent
Yep Excellent product. Came to them after reading many reviews and prior top these being a wireless headset user. The cable part took a little getting used to but now now issues, very good comfort and sound.
