This is a long, relatively heavy, well-made hammer. Not the best tool for gently tapping panel pins into place but excellent for walloping larger nails. The long handle also gives you a lot of leverage when levering out larger nails that don't want to be going anywhere. It's excellent tool for the right kind of job and a good price for an Estwing.

Good quality, well engineered hammer, overall a reasonable purchase. I will add this version (made in Taiwan model) is not as well built and does not have the same feel as the American made version they make. If I purchased again I’d would spend a little more for the real deal American made version.

It’s an Eastwing hammer. Possibly the very best you can buy. My son in law lost the last one we bought him, how I have no idea, so got him another. He deserves the best. Well balanced, beautifully made.

I only use it for D I Y. & I noticed as if by accident it’s precise usage . It’s clever ,who would have thought a slight bend would prove to be so effective .

i needed a new hammer and everyone i know in the building game recommened estwing. there's a huge selection of them on amazon so i took a leap of faith and chose this one purely because it was the cheapest! it's an unusual looking design but seeems to be well cast and finished...i've not used it yet but it is well balanced with a large square ish face...20oz seems like an ideal weight too.
