Noise
Items installed very easy. No noise when sliding chairs. Good product. I wish that the sliders were a darker brown color. I'll see what the durability is.

Sturdier and less messy than the adhesive version
I’ve used the adhesive felt pads in the past but they just slid off furniture feet over time and left a gooey mess. While these take a little extra work to apply, the results are better, sturdier/longer lasting. Once applied, they provide a smooth glide, add protection to hard floors and minimize/eliminate noise from moving furniture around. This is what adulting looks like.

Felt wore out in a year
These seemed promising as they came in many sizes so I could get ones that fit the smaller diameter of my chair legs. The felt was very smooth gliding at first, but then it wore out in a year of light use (second home, no kids) and the remaining plastic sounded and felt rough on the floor. I replaced them with a different product.Furniture glides vary widely, and floors do too. I often have to try a couple different ones before I find a set that work, so no hard feelings. They are not that expensive.

So far these have worked better than an adhesive backed pad.
I bought these to place on the bottom of wooden legs of a breakfast table and chair set. We previously used adhesive backed felt pads to dampen the noise of the legs on our porcelain tile floor. These first pads shifted and/or fell off the leg bottoms after a couple of years use. I pre-drilled holes for the new pad "attachment spikes" using a drill bit of slightly smaller diameter. I used my eye to make the hole as perpendicular to the leg bottom as possible. The felt will crush a bit with use to even out any slight deviation off perpendicular. I used a rubber mallet to tap the new pads onto the leg bottoms. After several weeks and some heavy use, the pads are holding up very well. These pads will raise height by almost 3/8ths of an inch. So far, so good, and I am satisfied with the results. They are quiet and still tightly affixed to the legs.
