Dakine Pyramid Studs Stomp Pad

Great looking fully customisable stomp pad, couldn’t have asked for more! Put them through their paces last week and they never came off.

Perfect for keeping my foot on my shiny Birds of a Feather board! Look great and doesn't detract from the design.

Easy to peel and stick to the board. Stay stuck. Careful about the mini versions- less surface area to stick so I lost a few in the first week.

A nice looking stomp pad and very durable. Winner.

Two of the spikes disappeared from my board last year, paint is chipping off the others. Decent for the price but would not purchase again

I had a set of these on my last board and ordered them again for my new board as they work really well and the bronze color goes nicely with my new board's color scheme. I like the ability for custom placement and small profile of the studs, rather than a big clunky stomp pad that covers up a huge portion of the board's graphics. These are easy to apply and stay on the board well IF you follow the directions very closely. Use rubbing alcohol to THOROUGHLY clean the board surface multiple times and wear nitrile gloves to keep your hands from getting the board or the studs from getting greasy. Use a hairdryer to get the board surface and the studs (with the paper backing still on) very hot, peel the paper, and apply them one at a time. Use something very heavy to keep them pressed down after applying them (I used about 80 lbs worth of barbell plates) and continue to heat them using the hairdryer as you apply the others. When all is said and done, leave the weight on them for 24 hours. I haven't had a single stud fall off from either of my boards in 3+ years of using these, with nearly 50 trips to the slopes and in all temperatures and conditions. If yours fall off, you did something wrong.

I only half-way followed the instructions, but the spikes are still adhered to my board. I didn't pre-heat the board, I just stuck them on. Then, I heated them with a blow dryer (the spikes are metal btw), put a heavy book on them while they cooled, and took my board out for a spin about 2 days later. The spikes work very well with keeping your foot in place when you're exiting the lift or skating around. Also, I like the fact that you can organize the spikes into any pattern that you want (I opted for an oval arrangement).
