Ammonites - Cut and Polished (large pair)

These impressive ammonites have been cut in half and both halves have been highly polished for optimal display. The coiling pattern of the cepahlopod is easily seen, and the individual chambers of the ammonite are wonderfully showcased. Some of the chambers maybe hollow and lined with beautiful calcite crystals, like miniature geodes. And the ammonite is fully complete, down to its tiniest inner whorls. These are beautiful fossil, perfect for any fossil collection.
