Perfection! My PC has a faulty audio socket. No audio out into headphones and plugging in didn't silence the internal speaker. Took a gamble on these. Works perfect. Plug in headset and speaker is silenced.

I have a docking station that I use to switch between my mini PC and my Steam Deck and this works PERFECTLY as an audio solution. The dock has an audio port, but it's on the front and not as convenient to plug in (and have the cable wrap around to the back). Prior to this, I've tried a few adapters and they got HOT for some reason, like blistering hot (no exaggeration). I grabbed this one since it's a known brand and it doesn't get hot, at all! Maybe barely warm, but almost nothing. The audio quality is also fine, but potentially a LITTLE quieter than the main port on the front of the hub/dock, but so little of a difference to where you can't really be sure.

Had to connect some speakers to a dock that did not have an auto jack. These worked fine but may have some impact to sound quality. I could hear a slight difference between this adapter and having the speakers connected using the 1/8" audio port on my Mac. Music did not sound as crisp. but not enough to not use this adapter.

So been only a year since I bought these and I will say it isn't worth it whatsoever. It comes in a pack of 2 as described. But it quickly became obvious as to why it comes with 2. Only 3 days after I started using the first one it started malfunctioning hardcore and started forcing Volume Down inputs into my pc and muting everything. The second one JUST started malfunctioning today and it is forcing a rapid play/pause input on all media and forcing my pc to shutdown. I highly recommend finding a different product unless you don't mind purchasing more in a year and dealing with audio artificing. These can cause serious damage to both the user's hearing as well as their pc or other device.

These adapters do exactly what they are designed to do !! It’s a simple inexpensive solution to a huge problem when your new windows 11 computer will not pair to your existing audio output system speakers! Forget the green audio plug-in on the back of the computer and use any of the USB ports instead ! Now you will get your sound output back !

It works for audio but for my use didn’t work. My audio jack port messed up and So my headphones will work with this adapter. But If I have to go on a call with the mic, the audio is messed up.

I had a problem: the internal sound card on the laptop (windows 7) stopped working properly. I needed a way of getting sound in and out of the laptop. What's worse I needed to use it with both standard ear phones and a rode go lavalier microphone. I got this with low expectations. We're all aware of the lower quality items that sneak into marketplace... However I was pleasantly surprised. It came in a nice looking little card pouch, so no plastic waste. Then when I plugged it into the laptop it took about 3 seconds and then suddenly I had a new audio device. Then came the moment of reckoning, I plugged in my rode go, and hit record. The quality is actually really quite good, this little device actually has a passable AF inside it! I wouldn't say it was audiophile quality, but on recordings with the mike it presented clear audio. Next I hooked up a rode sc6 splitter and a rode extension cable and some triple driver iem's... Amazingly, the laptop just carried on producing good quality sound in the headphones, and enabling talk back showed that the device was really coping nicely with bidirectional audio. Using it with Skype has been pretty flawless. People say the audio is clear and I can hear them very well too. I have it set up as my default communication device. All in all I'm very impressed. Works fine, even with premium quality kit, and holds its own against the internal audio of the laptop. A great purchase. The colour is lovely too...
