Bulk buying and storing.
My only complaint would be that I wish the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 were listed. Not just the little dashes in between. I do bulk buying and a lot of home cooking. A simple scale comes in handy. I don’t want a lot of electrical boards, circuits etc. I have kids and water gets every where on the counters. (They can be messy.) This fits the bill for ease, simple and durable.

Does the job
Not the most sturdy feeling scale but it works well for what I need it for - pottery. The plastic is easy to clean and I don’t have to worry about the metal components rusting or looking dull. The top part of the scale is not attached, it is a separate piece which I find helpful at times, like when I am want to bring tools/clay over to my station I just drop them into the tray and walk them over. It is also frustrating sometimes as it gets bumped off easily if nothing is in it to weight it down.

Super cute and a great size for kids ina classroom setting.

Made of plastic
Small made of plastic. But works for what I want it for. Stores away easy. But I don't think it would hold up to a lot of use.

Broken
I bought an open box one for a dollar off but it was broken. I’m only using it as a classroom toy but it’s not accurate and the top falls off every time you add the smallest things to it—pretty disappointing!

Dinky toy
I can see a child playing with this as a toy but it is not sensitive and the plastic tray is so flimsy it is bowed and doesn’t stay in place. Headed to the trash.
