MY SMART SCRIPT Eye Supplement provides eye and vision health. The medium-sized vegan capsules are odorless and tasteless; there's no gluten, soy, fillers or synthetic additives. That, in itself is indicative of a quality product. I'm not capable of discerning whether this supplement has improved my eye health over the last 3 weeks; its effect isn't obvious [as caffeine is, for example]. But, I've done some research, so that I have some appreciation of what ingredients are recommended by experts to make an eye supplement worthy of your trust. You're invited to look deeper [pun intended] and do your own research. AREDS [Age Related Eye Disease Studies] is the study relied upon by many experts. It recommends the following ingredients as beneficial to eye health. Vitamins C and E are included, as are zinc and copper. In addition, the caroteroids, Lutein and Zeaxanthin are essential; they are pigments in the retina [and, in plants] which protect eyes from ultraviolet rays in sunlight. Studies suggest that a high level of both in eye tissue is linked with better vision, especially in glare or dim light. They may also slow the progression of age-related eye diseases and macular degeneration. AREDS also recommends the minimal daily dosage for all of the above. There are other beneficial ingredients that may be added to an eye supplement. This Eye Health supplement does a fine job of including each of the above mentioned ingredients. In addition, Bilberry Extract is included; it's a flavonoid that fights eye fatigue. Some of these ingredients are above and, some are below the AREDS recommended daily dosage, but at least all are included; I'm not capable of a more critical evaluation. The bottle lists the daily serving size as 2 capsules, while it curiously notes further below to take 1 or 2 capsules, daily. The AREDS recommended daily Lutein dosage of 10mg is met by taking 1 capsule; taking more than 20mg. is not recommended, generally. AREDS recommends 2mg. of Zeaxanthin, daily; 1 capsule meets that requirement. So, based on my limited understanding of the components of eye care, MY SMART SCRIPT does a fine job of addressing the AREDS recommendations, while ensuring that no undesirable ingredients are added. At its current price of $18.95 for a 1-2 month supply, this product is quite competitively priced. Based upon quality and price, this product should be a strong consideration for you.

These eye vitamins are ok, I don't really like the smell of them, I have been taking them for a while and have seemed to notice a slight difference in my eye health,60 capsules come in a bottle which ain't half bad for the price, I like that they are small,gel coated fir easier swallowing.

I had previously taken an ARED supplement and experienced some relief from eye strain and fatigue. Then I ran out of that particular supplement, and I seemed to have more frequent difficulty or discomfort without it. Now that I've had the opportunity to take this "i Brite" supplement for about a week, I feel I'm regaining that relief I'd experienced before. In my prior research, I'd noticed that my first ARED supplement contained exactly the clinically researched combination of vitamins and minerals. This product contains vitamins A, C, E, and Zinc. It has the requisite Lutein and Zeaxanthin, but at twice the mg as compared to my prior supplement. I've seen a few similar supplements that attempt to get by with only pairing the Lutein and Zeaxanthin, and missing out every other vitamin from the research. Granted, if you're taking a daily multi, you're already getting A,C,E, and Zinc. Overall, I like this product and I feel it represents a good deal, if it can provide some degree of relief and stability to a vital sense like your sight.

This is the first time I've taken an eye health supplement, usually when I start worrying about my aging vision, I buy some carrot juice and some extra orange vegetables, though I did just learn that lutein is actually more plentiful in green veggies like kale and spinach. I do feel like I'm doing something good for myself by taking this supplement though and I will consider adding it to my arsenal of supplements on a permanent basis as I have noticed some minor night vision problems and I'm not getting any younger. It's too early to tell if this supplement is helping me, as I haven't quite been taking this for two weeks yet and I started off with one capsule a day to make sure it didn't disagree with me. I haven't noticed any ill effects when taking this supplement, as with most supplements I take it after a meal. I love the fact that this is a vegan supplement and that it's clearly stated as vegan on the label.

First to explain, I can’t give complete information about the effectiveness right away. Supplements and vitamins take a while to take effect. If I notice a difference right away, I’ll mention it. I also take supplements so these might work WITH what I’m taking.This is a really good product, but as I mentioned above, it something that will take longer than a month to see any effects.
