Saving more than a dollar per day!
This is a fun little gadget to use and I think it does a great job. It’s very easy to use and the replacement foil perfectly aligns on top of the aluminum pod cup. I would recommend that you do several at a time so that you are always ready for that daily cup. I have only had one issue and I think it might have been because I might have overfilled the coffee and then tamped it, which packed it too hard and when the machine tried to brew the coffee, it would not come out. I put in a different pod that I had created and it worked just fine. I estimate the savings for me to be $1.10 per cup.

Easy to Refill Vertuo Capsules
The perfect solution for refilling your Nespresso Vertuo capsules! We’ve gotten tons of use from this little gadget. Just follow the instructions carefully and make sure to give your refilled pods a little extra “press” around the edges and you’ll be good to go. It’s actually fun to do once you get the hang of it. Think of how much money you can save reusing your old foil capsules and enjoying your favorite brands of espresso as well!

Mixed feelings - sharing my experience
So the idea of this product is nice - several reasons I bought it - 1) I have many bags of coffee that I had or one of my friends gave me and I feel bad not to use it 2) to save some money from keep buying the original capsule 3) thought would be cool to reuse the capsules -My experience it is not easy - as I show in the photos it is a process and one mistake your coffee will not taste good ( example if you pressure the coffee inside the capsule or if you added so much extra or less than normal ) - so it takes couple of rounds to master the process. Also, if you wake up and want your cup of coffee now - it would be a good idea to prepare it before your sleep or definitely you will do a mistake -I still like the idea but the moment the covers finish- will I get more covers - I am not sure.To summarize: I will still buy the capsule but it is a nice way to use bags of coffee that I had and wish to use -as a permanent solution: it may not work for everyone.

No brainer. Takes 30 sec to pack and seal each pod.
Best return on investment ever. Stop buying $1.30 pods today. Use your own quality coffee. Produce less waste. Win win win…. Except for the “N” company. Prepare your pods when you get home and they’ll be ready to pop in for the morning.

Good quality product
Great eco-friendly alternative!I’ve been using this reusable Vertuo capsule kit for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed. It’s super easy to use and clean, and it works perfectly with my Nespresso machine. The coffee comes out tasting great, and I love that I can now use my own blends while cutting down on waste. It also comes with everything you need, including filters and a scoop/tamper. Highly recommended for any coffee lover looking to be more sustainable!

It works sometimes but beware the times it doesn’t!
Edited 5/27/24: I have made maybe 60 pods now and they worked great at first. The question is, do you want a catastrophic event if they dont? One pod I made came apart in my friend’s machine and made a horrible noise. We couldn’t get it clean enough to use so had to buy a new machine. We would have had it professionally cleaned but no one seems to handle Breville Nespresso machines in this area that I could find. Then it happened in my machine when I went to remove the pod … just the top came off but got a fair amount of grounds flung around while trying to pry the pod out. I ended up turning it upside down and then the grounds fell out all over everything even though I did it over a trash bag. I had to use my fingernails to get ahold of the pod bottom and squish it enough to grasp it to pull out. The machine works okay now.I was very careful making these pods but as you can see the system can fail so decide if you’re really are saving money if one potentially comes apart in your machine.————————————————————————There are some really good comments for this product, so read those. My best tip is to use tweezers to remove the old foil after cutting an x on top with a razor blade or craft knife. You can remove most of the foil from the edges that way much more easily than pulling with your fingers. Bonus: the Nessus foil is even easier to remove after brewing your refurbished pod. You don’t need to remove every little bit of foil from the edges so don’t let that slow you down. Make sure the new foil sticks well by dusting the coffee off the edges before sealing the pod. It takes a fair bit of time to refill a tube of pods but do it when listening to an audiobook and time will slide by. I have not had any problems with this set or my new pods. Just do it!!

Learning Curve to Use
I recently purchased a Vertuo machine and love it. I wanted to use my own coffee and these seemed like a great idea. Unfortunately, they did not work as I had hoped. The lid fit nice, but after the cycle was done, coffee grounds were everywhere. I soon figured out that the lids are not as tight fitting as the original. the pressure on the pods in the machine causes these to open from the sides. So, I learned to seal the sides really, really well for it to almost work like the original. The kit does not connect well for the seal on the edges to really stick. The trick is to use the end of the brush and go around the edges a few times. It just adds more time and care that I don't really have in the mornings.

Wonderful!
These work great. Make sure to use the presser tool to press down the inside edge after applying the foil. Also, if you're looking at the kit that doesn't include the "opener" (the cutter to remove original foil), definitely DO get the other one; same company, NESSUS, same kit, but you get 50 foils instead of 100 but you get the cutter. DO Get the cutter; it's really important to do this process neatly. If done right it works really well, really consistently. Been doing this for a month or so with this kit, and I'm totally sold, but I do take my time and make sure the replaced foils are perfect. Press with that "presser" tool at the end, don't forget that step, as that's where most of the adhesion will take place. Salute!
