Update 11/16/23 great customer service!!
I bought this anpviz system. Setting up the system wasn’t a problem, it was actually very simple, until the first issue appear, the lights of the camera will not come on at night or when is dark when I walk in front of the cameras, it’s stuck on infrared mode all the time (black and white screen). I try everything and nothing makes this camera lights come on, I have one of the camera inside the house, even when I have the house lights ON THE CAMERA WILL STAY IN THE INFRARED MODE. I’m very frustrated since I was half way finishing installing this camera system, too much money I paid for something simple that doesn’t work! The cheaper Hiseeu cameras work much better. Update 8/28::: customer service is trying to help. Update 9/7/23::: receive 2 new replacement cameras and they work they way they should work for indoors, they go to full color when exterior light is detected……good replacement cameras. But now another problem came up with the system, one of the camera that is connected the farthest from the NVR went offline for more than 2 hours, this is actually the second time but the first time it only went offline for about 2 minutes… it’s very frustrating having to deal with this problems,,,,yes, they are trying to help, I will keep updating, I have about another 15 days left to return this item, I will see if problem can be fix, it just doesn’t make any sense why the camera are going offline. It suppose to be a reliable connection source since its connected thru Ethernet cable. 9/23/23 one of the cameras keeps going offline, it’s the furthest camera from the NVR, i don’t know if that even matters, the 2 cameras I have Install near the NVR have never gone offline, only the one that I installed the furthest from the NVR, I came to the conclusion this system is a bad product. Update: 9/29/23 Indeed I’m 100% certain this NVR is defected, since day one I have had only problems, customers did everything to help but none of their solution that were offer help, I reported that one of the cameras had been going offline, and nothing of what we try fix the issue,, *Now another camera is going offline, I paid close $615 (including new cables I bought myself) and I only have had problems with this NVR product since day one, I can’t complaint about the cameras, they are great quality camera with good resolution, it’s just annoying that some of them are going offline. 11/11/23 since I first reviewed this product the problems are getting worst the more I’ve use it (more cameras going offline since then), now a different camera is going offline, this camera is connected with the new upgraded cable cat6 I bought myself and which they told me that might resolved the offline issue, but it didn't. When I first reported the offline issue to them, They first told me that I needed to update the cameras, I did, and also to Update the NVR, I did that too, but the offline issue continue to be there, then later they told me it might be a Ethernet Poe cable problem, (the cables that connect the cameras to the NVR),, so I went and spent another $95 in a new and better Poe Ethernet cables to connect the cameras to the NVR, and thought that was going to solve the offline issue, but only 2 weeks later the cameras with the new Ethernet and better cables went offline once again ( so the cables are not the culprit), then I switched the offline camera with another camera and also that replacement camera a week later went offline, so I contacted them thru a message once again, and after explaining everything what we have done to resolve and fix the issue a guy from their customers service told me it might be a NVR problem. They offer a new NVR replacement to see if it real culprit is the NVR. I have feeling this NVR I own does not have the necessary power to supply for the cameras that are connected with cables that are over 25ft, I have feeling it loses power overtime, because the power supply from the NVR is not enough to supply for those long cables… the reason I’m saying this because there’s only 2 cameras that have never been offline since owning this NVR and those 2 cameras are connected thru 10 ft and 5 ft ethernet cable to the NVR,,, and I have never had any issues with these 2 cameras NEVER, but the the cameras that are connected with cables over 25ft, those cameras will go offline, it doesn’t matter how good of Ethernet cables you use (cat5,cat6,cat7 or cat8) it will eventually go offline… but if the cables are below 10 ft I notice it doesn’t have this issue… but what is the point of only having to use a 10 ft cable.. you won’t be able to use these cameras around your house, you will 100 percent need over 25ft long cables to connect the cameras outside your house….. so that’s my conclusion. This NVR does not have plenty of power to supply those cameras that are connected with 25ft (or longer) long Ethernet cables… that’s my final conclusion, their customer service seems to have no idea why are they going offline, and hope my experience help them find the root of the offline problem so it can be prevented in the newer models. 11/13/2023 they will send me a new NVR replacement, updated my review from 1 to 3 stars, customer service have been helpful since day one in trying to help to resolve this issue, so the only left solution now is to replace the NVR and see if the offline problems will finally get fix, if this resolves the problem I will definitely update my review to 5 stars. 11/16 I WILL BE RECEIVING A NEW NVR, ANPVIZ CUSTOMER IS BEYOND THE BEST, SINCE DAY 1 THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO HELP ME RESOLVE THE OFFLINE PROBLEM, WE BELIEVE THAT THE NVR I RECEIVED ON MY FIRST ORDER IS DEFECTED, AND HOPING THE NEW ONE WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM,I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANPVIZ BRAND, THEIR CAMERAS ARE ONE OF THE BEST ON THE MARKET RIGHT NOW, AND FOR THE PRICE IS WELL WORTHY!

Great choice
Great cameras! I love that we do not have to subscribe monthly. It records 24/7, the recordings last until 3 months. After 3 months the recordings expire. My family all has these! Great choice 5 star for sure!

Great purchase
I recently installed this security camera system, and I’m genuinely impressed! The setup was straightforward, and the image quality is crystal clear, even at night. I love how easy it is to access the live feed from my phone, giving me peace of mind when I'm away from home. The motion detection is highly accurate, It’s been a game-changer in terms of both safety and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their home security!

Quality is really good
Had these cameras for almost two years and they are really good quality. We ran into an issue with our NVR which affected our cameras. At first we had a little struggle getting a resolution just because of the time zone and the rep was still new. I received an email from the manager separately to help me since the situation was a little complicated with the technical issue we were having for the new person. After a few emails with the manager we had a replacement NVR and cameras very quickly. I’ve already recommended these to my mother to replace her outdated and low quality system.

A terrific camera system.
The cameras are crystal clear and look great but not too obvious. Good field of view. Hard drive is very versatile (probably more than I will ever need, but comforting to know it sees and store every move). Needed a guy to install but then I am 80 yrs old. He made it look like it is just part of the house. Remote viewing is flawless.

Review of Anpviz 4K 16CH PoE Security Camera System, 8pcs Wired 8MP PoE IP Cameras
The Model # of this Anpviz NVR is NVR3116M2-16P and it comes with 8 4K Model # IPC-D3B83W-SV 2.8MM POE cameras, wired mouse, 8 60 ft ethernet cables and 4TB Hard Drive installed. It does H.264 and H2.65 Video Compression but not H.265+. Picture of actual model and cameras shown to help differentiate this item from other Anpviz NVRs here on Amazon. It has both VGA and HDMI outputs for a monitor but no HDMI cable is included. The HDMI output can be set for several outputs such as 1080P and 4K to suit your monitor needs( I used a 4K 43 inch TV and the video was crystal clear when viewing the cameras). All 16 POE ports are powered for POE devices. Firmware version is NVR-B3602.39.84.C19061.250514 and there are no online updates available at this time. The NVR measures approximately 15 inches wide, 12 3/8 inches deep and 2 inches high if space is a consideration. Having learned from past mistakes, I set the NVR up in my workshop for testing before attempting to install anything, connected the 8 included cameras to ports 1-8 and connected 4 more Anpviz Model IPC-D3283W-S POE cameras that I purchased here on Amazon. The NVR plays nicely with the 8 Model IPC-DW83W-SW cameras that came with it by finding, connecting and configuring them and all 8 cameras showed on my monitor pretty much crystal clear with one way audio (camera to NVR). The music stopped at that point. The NVR refused to connect to the 4 IPC-D3283W-S cameras and showed them offline. One thing I noticed was the 8 IPC-D3B83W-SV cameras are ONVIF only while the 4 IPC-D3283W-S cameras are ONVIF Plus cameras. Both camera models show as being Uprime Series on their respective packing boxes and the Anpviz documentation states that ithe NVR can configure both U Series and Uprime series cameras. By fiddling with the 4 cameras that were showing offline, I found that I could change them from ONVIF Plus to ONVIF by changing each from Plug & Play to IP Address and it would allow me to change them to ONVIF. Problem was sometimes they would then connect and sometimes they would not. Sometimes the NVR would save the ONVIF setting and sometimes it would not. At one time I had all 4 of these cameras online and video showing on the monitor. At times a couple of them would go offline and refuse to connect again no matter what I did. Finally decided after testing that this was more trouble than it was worth and returned the NVR and 8 cameras to Amazon. To be fair, the NVR and 8 original cameras appear to work fine. The video I saw on my monitor while testing was crystal clear especially when only viewing one camera at a time on my 43 Inch 4 K TV used as a monitor for this test. Someone else may not have issues with using additional cameras other than the 8 that come with it. I could have been doing something wrong in my testing but I can say the 4 IPCV-D3283W-S cameras were definitely not Plug & Play for me.

I'd give this 0 stars if I could. The cameras work good and everything but be aware, you will not get any product support. My father forgot his password while setting up. There's no way to do a factory reset. The manual says you can scan the QR code to make a new password. Doing this will bring you to a non existent website. The manual also says you can email them and they'll send a code to reset your password. But when you email them, all you hear is crickets. What a waste of money *Edited* Since they weren't replying to emails, I was able to reach out to the seller through Amazon. They were able to help and I finally got to reset the password. I've since changed my rating to reflect that.
