Time will tell if it reduces chair marks on the carpet. I am hopeful it will.

I bought this for my home office. I didn’t want anything big since it’s in my living room. I don’t know that I would call it “heavy duty” as the chair does leave indents in the mat. However, it does serve the intended purpose.

I got this in hopes it would be suitable for my carpeted desk area. Unfortunately the sides stick up when it’s the chair and you causing the wheels of the chair to get stuck when sliding off of the mat. I tried it on hardwood and it works amazing! Just be cautious when using it on plush carpet as the side will bow up

Mat unfurled relatively easily (put some heavy stuff on it to help flatten it). It probably won't last forever, but it was certainly worth the low price.

Put out in hot sun with some bricks on it til it straight out lay it in place while it is still bendable once flat you will love it

Very well made. It’s thick enough, but keeps folding around the corners.

We purchased this mat to go on carpet in our home office. It comes rolled up and was difficult to get flat. Once we were able to use it, it was still hard to roll on when on carpet. It slides around as you roll on it. There isn’t a huge difference between using this or just using our carpet. I will continue to use hoping it will protect our carpet from wearing out.

The quality is good but the plastic smell is very strong. The smell did fade after about a month.

I have a carpetted office with a swivel chair and two desks, so I'm constantly moving the chair back and forth. I've noticed that the constant motion has pulled the carpet up and is threatening to create a 'ridge'. It was proving hard to wheel around as the carpet was crumpling up a little.So, I got a nice-looking fabric mat which was utterly hopeless. It slid around the carpet, despite the little spikes on the underside, so I swallowed my pride and decided to spoil the nice carpet with one of these plastic things. In my mind, they look too 1970's and too officey for my nicely carpeted room, but I have to say, there's no beating it.It took a while to unfurl itself. The mat comes rolled up and stays wanting to stay rolled up for several hours after you remove it from the box. But, stay patient and it will unfurl and sit flat.Since then, it's sat solidly in place and protected the carpet perfectly. My only gripe is that the top plastic isn't the thickest I've seen, so the top surface is very bumpy due to the 'spikes'. This means that it's a bit rough to wheel across it, as the wheels push down into the plastic top. It works well, but can need a goot bit of bouncing and pushing to wheel across it if your underlying carpet is soft.

I bought this mat to protect my newly installed "engineered wood" flooring as I was concerned that my desk chair would cause scratches.I actually struggled to find a product that I felt confident buying, as reviews either mentioned issues with mats that "never uncurled" at the corners or had a "frosted translucent look" rather than a transparent look that wouldn't negatively impact the aesthetics of the underlying floor. Then there were the issues of trying to find the right size at a price I was happy with considering I was taking a gamble on the quality.I bought this product and was able to unroll it and lay it down without issue. From the offset, I did not struggle with any curling corners and was pleasantly surprised that although it does have a translucent slightly frosted effect, you can hardly notice that there is a mat down (as you can see in my attached picture, under the chair and to the left of the rug).I have no reason to doubt the durability or the protective value of the product as there is a reasonable amount of thickness without being obtrusive, and I am quite confidently using my chair on the mat without fear of the flooring underneath.As always, I wish it was cheaper, but I really am glad that this is the product I chose out of all others available.Would reccomend.

Fait bien son travail de protection du plancher. Plus mince que je pensais et que mon autre que j'avais. Cependant, se déroule très bien et s'installe parfaitement. La chaise se déplace aisément sur ce tapis. Je suis satisfaite.

Not certain about the longevity of this mat but currently it is doing a very nice job at protecting the edges of our vinyl laminate that our chairs were occasionally chipping the surface of.True test will be if this is still doing well in the years to come. We also used a double sided tape to keep the mat from accidentally getting pinched or bent upwards when the chairs are being dragged across the edge of the mat occasionally.Fast shipping, good price.
