A great headset for Skype calls
I bought this for work because we recently switched over to Skype only and no desk phones. The Plantronics devices they gave us were garbage and had cords connected via USB to my laptop. It's 2018...we shouldn't be tethered by a cord to anything. This Mpow Bluetooth headset connected right away to my laptop and works very well. People don't have any trouble hearing me and I can hear them fine. I also like the fact that when I turn it on it connects immediately to my laptop. I even recommended this to another person at work today that was wanting to buy a headset for their Skype calls. So far the battery life has been great. I haven't ran out of battery yet but I still throw it on to charge about once every couple of weeks or so. I'm on the phone somewhat often at my job. If you're working a call center or on meetings all day, I'm not sure how long it would last. I bet you'd get a week out of it or more, but I'm speculating. The range on the headset is pretty decent as well.A word of advice. Power it up while you're not wearing it because the power up sound indicator is really loud.

Not truck driver approved, at least for my application.
I bought this to replace a Plantronics EOTE14 Bluetooth headseat because the device wasn't loud enough. The Mpow headset was comfortable on my ear and the features were nice, however this head set was too quiet and people sounded muffled. The range is also really short. With the Plantronics device i was able to leave my phone in the cab and walk around my truck and trailer and not loose the Bluetooth signal. With the Mpow i started to loose signal at any distance greater than 10 feet.I am returning the headset today because of those issues. It may work great for the office, but not for truck driving.

You wont believe how good this product is.
I have worked on phones for 35 years. My first priority is how do I sound. 2nd is quality of unit. 3rd is length of battery life. First, I have spent thousands of dollars on Bluetooth headsets. I own Bose ear buds, the 300,00 ones for my travel stereo. Cost is not object to me at all. There is no way I thought this headset would even work. But, I do trust Amazon customers and when I saw that over 4000 people had purchased the Mpow Truck Drive headset with virtually every one giving a top rating I decided to purchase the unit.I have been working with this headset now for 2 weeks. My high end audio friends all state my voice quality is perfect. I have asked over 50 different people how I sound and these people are knowledgeable and honest. The physical design is very simple and this a true benefit. The headband is very light and is very comfortable. Headsets with the very large/padded headbands add weight and can create heat on your head. The design and plastics are very sturdy. My phone allows me to pair with the headset and with my Bluetooth music system so that I can use the headset for calls and play music from my phone to my Bluetooth speakers.Summary: There is no way I would think this headset would do everything it does. But IT DOES!Don't overthink this purchase. This is just one of those products from a company we don't know that just happens to be a super product.I just bought a second one for my travel bag.

and I am very disappointed. The volume is very sketchy
I have spent so much reading all the reviews of this headset before I have decided to purchase it. I have just received it today, and I am very disappointed. The volume is very sketchy, and I there is a lot static. If I stand more than 10 feet away from the unit...then I can't hear it at all. This is a second review that I am writing about this headset. As I have mentioned above that I had a terrible experience with the headset that I have purchased. Anyway, I have been contacted by the manufacture asking me about the experience that I have had with its product. They have sent me a new one. I was very skeptical about it, but as it turned out the new one that I have received worked great. I have been using it extensively for the past two days...and it is much better than the one that I have received initially. Therefore, it is my conclusion that this a good headset, and the customer services is fabulous. So, I am giving this headset a five stars!

5 stars
Ok, I just got it yesterday and was testing it the whole day - so far seems undervalued... Battery lasted 10+ hrs continuous use, clear sound quality both ways - speakers and mic. Comfortable, my ear is usually red and hurts after wearing these things, but not here. I love the main button location, as I'm wearing something on my head most of the time, and accidental call endings was common using models with call button behind the speaker. Looks good too. Probably the best deal under 100 bucks.Update:It's been well over a year, still works great. I have two, in case I need continuous use and, bought more for co-workers. Battery life decreased over time, probably also due to my obsession with charging. I experienced couple HD calls on ATT network, so it must be compatible with that technology. Overall, totally worth the money.

Great for indoor use.
The headset is comfortable, easy to pair and easy to use. The voice quality was good. I was standing in a noisy area and no one complained about not being able to hear me or about too much background noise or anything. I didn't ask them if they had trouble hearing me but it didn't seem like an issue at all. The reason for 4 stars is the fit. The earpiece doesn't flex or turn so the mic was very far from my mouth. It was able to pick up the sound fine with that distance but it would be better if it could flex a bit to come close to the mouth. Also..the earpiece doesn't cover the ear completely because of the shape. I had to move the other end almost to the back of the head to try to cover my ear completely but that still wasn't enough and it make the headset uncomfortable. If you are using this headset indoors or in quiet places then it is absolutely fine.Another thing that I wish I knew was that the on off switch for this headset is actually behind the mic. Kinda awkward to turn it on and off but that may be because I am used to the on off button being on the ear piece for all the other headsets that I have used.
